My bff - g-spot vibrator discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by JEM

I am sad to say that the best possible use to this toy would be as a paper weight. This toy disappointed me in more ways than one could imagine. The only thing it stimulated was my frustration. If frustration is something that turns you on then this toy is definitely for you!

My BFF is made of a hard plastic.The shaft is coated in a velvet like finish and the base where the controls are located are a smooth plastic. I did not notice any smell or taste. The plastic is phthalates free, hypo-allergenic, and latex free. I did notice that the plastic is porous so using a condom may be a good idea if sharing.

To the naked eye the size and shape of this toy is pretty impressive. The entire length of this toy is 6" long. 4 1/2" of that is insertable. The thickest part of My BFF measures about 5 3/4" where the slimmest part measures about 4 3/4". This is a pretty thick toy!

As for the design, this is where I got really frustrated. As I turned the dial to reveal the battery compartment I noticed the dial was a little stiff. I figured it would loosen with use and proceeded to insert the two AA batteries that is required. As soon as I slid my rechargeable AA batteries in my heart sunk as I knew they were NEVER coming out! The small holes that house the batteries were so small and tight that once those batteries were in they were in for life. No amount of shaking, banging, tweezing, etc. would get my batteries out!

Once I got over the initial let down of never seeing my rechargable batteries again I closed the lid and decided to see if My BFF could make up for it's short comings. I began to turned the round dial at the base and noticed a very small, very faint buzz. Curious, I decided to turn it all the way to increase the power. To my surprise the vibrations only got a little more powerful. Even at it's most powerful setting it leaves much to be desired. The dial was a bit stiff when I turned it but I am guessing that may loosen with use. As for noise, this device is pretty quiet but with the unimpressive vibrations it ought to be.

Since this toy is plastic with a velvet like finish I use soap and water to clean it. I would stay away from any alcohol or cleaners that have alcohol in them as it may damage the finish. Just a little soap and water and a towel to dry. Since it is plastic it will not attract any lint from the towel.

The luxury of a plastic toy is that you can use any lubricant with it and storage is a breeze. Just put back in original package or store in any drawer or case.
