Little Dolly - g-spot vibrator by Fun Factory - review by Blinker

The Little Dolly vibe from Fun Factory is a small but powerful G-spotter with a hardworking little nose. She can sniff out your clit or G spot with ease, and her hefty vibration patterns will never leave you bored. Dolly's nose nestles into your sweet spots easily, and the control buttons are convenient enough that you won't lose concentration by fumbling around or twisting dials. She isn't the most fulfilling little vibe, but both beginners and advanced users will definitely find something to love about Little Dolly.

Dolly is made of body-safe, latex-free, hypo-allergenic medical grade silicone with a smooth, soft, matte texture. There is little drag when I run a finger down her curves. This is my first silicone vibrator and I was immensely impressed by how smooth and flexible the material was. It has absolutely no smell or taste, and is completely nonporous. Dolly's nose and curved neck are very flexible so maneuvering her into just the right spot is a breeze.

Dolly's body is as curvy as a woman's. In total she is 5 1/2" long, with 4 1/2" able to be inserted. At her widest point she measures at 1 1/8", just enough to fill you up for G spot playtime. She may not satisfy size queens, but for beginners and G-spot enthusiasts, Dolly's girth is just fine.
The body or shaft of the vibe is all silicone, and the last inch of it is the plastic casing that houses the 2 AAA batteries required to rev up her engines. What I love about this vibe's controls is that they are on the silicone part, right near the bottom. This is super convenient when Dolly is inside you and you can just feel for the bigger button with the + sign to increase the vibrations or the smaller - button to minimize the vibrations. I'll go more into detail about Dolly's controls in the Performance section.
At the very tip of Dolly is of course, her nose (and yes, she's smiling). Her head curves down and inward then as you move lower, the body of the dolphin design takes shape with actual fins, and a ridge on the back. Due to her design and structure, Dolly looks like an innocent child's toy. This vibe is great to travel with. It's super quiet and would be hard to activate the controls if it's rustling around in your purse or backpack.

I am surprised about how quiet this vibe is every time I use it. Dolly has two different vibration patterns: the first is the standard buzzing, steady vibration. After that, continuing to push the + button causes pulsating vibrations that are oh-so-sweet and powerful. The vibrations are felt throughout the entirety of the toy including the nose, but the strongest point is at the belly of the dolphin. It may be confusing to work the controls of Dolly at first, but after a while you get used to it.

1. Press the + button for 1 second to turn Dolly on and get the lowest level of steady vibration (it's so gentle, it almost feels as if the battery is dying).
2. Press it firmly once more to get a stronger vibration.
3. Again, press for 1 second to get to a level of higher intensity...
4. Do it once more, for 1 second...
5. Do it once more for more...
6. Now you are at the highest level of steady vibration. Now, hold the + button down firmly for a second...
7. And you get the first pulsing pattern of vibrations.
8. Pushing it again gets you another pulsing pattern, this one a bit faster.
9. Pushing it once more gives you a "wom wom wom wom" fast pulse vibration...
10. And if you push the + button once more, you return back to the first pulsing pattern.

To minimize the vibrations, press the - button firmly and each level will decrease. If you are in the pulsing mode, pressing the - button for a couple of seconds will return the vibrations to the original steady pattern. Hold down the - button for several seconds and then push it again quickly to turn off Dolly.

After I read the directions and got the hang of the patterns, I lubed Dolly up and let her do a nosedive into my pussy. Depending on how you feel about the nose of Dolly, you may want to insert her nose up or nose down, depending on your preferences. She's flexible enough that you will soon find a comfortable position. Dolly hit my G-spot after just a few minutes and I was dripping wet and exhausted. Dolly isn't a thrusting creature; she just noses around until you tell her to stop.

It says on the overview portion of Little Dolly's EF page that the vibe is waterproof. THIS VIBRATOR IS NOT 100% WATERPROOF. In the included instructions and on Fun Factory's website, it clearly states that Dolly is only SPLASHPROOF. I have gone into the shower with Dolly on one occasion and haven't had any problems. But if you do decide to take her in the shower with you or if any water splashes on the vibe, be absolutely sure to take the battery compartment out and dry each part before you put Dolly back together and use her again.

Take care of Dolly and she'll take care of you. Use lukewarm water and mild soap or toy cleaner to clean her. If you use a cloth to dry her, try to make sure it's lint-free so it doesn't look like Dolly is wearing a sweater. You can sterilize Dolly by just dipping the SILICONE portion in a 10% bleach solution, but don't boil the dolphin! That's animal cruelty and she will probably break.

To install batteries in this vibe, twist off the bottom black plastic piece of the vibrator and insert 2 new AAA batteries (Dolly doesn't come with her own batteries). Sometimes the cap is kind of hard to twist back on correctly. It usually takes me a few turns to get it right.

Was für ein großes paket! Fun Factory's packaging is always beautiful and discreet, and full of detailed instructions in 6 languages. Be careful when reading the English instructions because sometimes the translation from Deutsch to English mangles up the words a little bit. It's kind of funny, and I always have to read FF's instructions a few times to really get the hang of things.

The package makes a great place to store Dolly. Inside the tan cardboard box is a clear plastic bubble carton that Dolly can sleep in safely. After you wash your toy after each use, wipe down the inside of the clear package so no lint gets on your toy, because silicone has a tendency to collect fuzzies.

The box is suitable for gift-giving, and if the recipient knows anything about sex toys, they'll jump at the sight of the iconic FF box. Dolly also comes with a generous sample of their Toyfluid, a silky water-based lube. Remember to never use silicone-based lube with silicone toys!
