Not for meOverall, I wouldn't have bought this toy and I'm glad I didn't. That said, if you appreciate an incredibly quiet vibe and light vibrations, then this is the toy for you.
Slightly painful removal
Slightly painful removal
I got this toy as a free bonus for signing up for the newsletter. It wouldn't have been something that caught my eye, and after trying it, I don't think I would buy it for myself. The Insepera Balls feature two vibrating balls, each with an independent motor. You can use one for clitoral use, and the other for vaginal. If you like buzzy vibrations, this would be great for you. If you prefer deeper vibrations, a classic bullet or something like it is probably more up your alley.
The toy is made of hard plastic, with a smooth finish on the balls. When I opened it, I noticed an unpleasant smell that lessened but didn't disappear after being washed with soap and water. There are pretty prominent seams on the balls where the cord connects, which scraps a little when removed from the vagina.
Two purple balls attached to a controller by two clear cords. The controller is comfortable to hold, and the switch is easy to use. The balls are small and both can fit comfortably in the vagina. The cord comes folded up and tied, so unless you want a lot of cord, it's pretty compact. There's no bumps or anything on the balls, only the smooth finish, so if you like nubby toys this isn't the toy for you.
There's a motor in each ball, but the vibrations are very weak and weren't enough for me. It's controlled by and easy slider switch: off, low and high. Two speeds, the low being comparable to the speed of an electric face washer. The high isn't much stronger and both speeds give very buzzy sensations that I didn't find very stimulating.
Since this toy is made of plastic, you can use any lube you like with it without worry. I cleaned mine with soap and water, but you could use toy cleaner or wipes if you wanted. It's very compact, and I imagine it'd be no trouble to store in the smallest toy box.
The toy comes in a basic clear blister pack -- easy to open, but not ideal for storage. A small pamphlet about the toy is included.
I found this toy to be lacking. One thing I really didn't like about it was removal. Ouch! The seam where the cord meets ball is prominent and hard, and it scraped on the way out.
My experience was unsatisfying, as the vibrations were too weak and buzzy for my liking. I'll try it a few more times to be sure, but I don't think I'll hold on to this toy.
Follow-up commentary 5 months after original review
I've gotten this toy out once since I reviewed it, thinking I may have been too harsh. Well, I wasn't. It still smells, the seams are still painful and the vibrations are still lackluster.
