Handy massager - pocket rocket by WHK GmbH - review by Beck

The leopard print pocket rocket handy massager is a personal massager; it can be used in places like hands, feet, and intimate zones. The size of the head is too small to use over large areas of the body, like the back. There are four changeable caps to help give the desired massage.

The intentional use I had for this was as a clitoral vibrator. To use this as vibrator you should apply a compatible lube or have enough natural lube, then pick out a cap, and then place on the clitoris or have your partner place it on your clit. Out of all the caps there are two that I would never recommend putting anywhere near your clit, but more about that later. Since the size is sleek and slim, it can be used during intercourse, but the angle of your wrist maybe uncomfortable.

All four caps are good for places on the body, but you should use oil for easy gliding.

This toy is more of a beginner toy, because it has only one moderate speed. An advanced user will most likely find that it is too weak and lacks variety. It would make a great first vibrator choice.

The handy massager is made of plastic with three metal discs at the top of the head. All the caps are also made of plastic. Plastic has a safety rating of an 8, because it does not contain any harmful chemicals or anything that is allergy causing, so it is for all to enjoy. There is no smell or taste to this plastic.

Each cap has their own texture; these textures are Spiky, smooth, and rigid. Some of the caps you may not want to use on the intimate zones, but they can be easily used on the body for a small area.

The design is like any normal pocket rocket. It is a 4”tall lipstick like tube that has leopard print design. The tube twists open at about half way, you can see were the two pieces met and they are marked in white type saying on/off. The top of this tube is black and has three metal discs on it, this end is the motor end and these discs are what provide the vibrations. This part can be used, but it comes with four changeable caps that go on top of this black area. The caps are black, ¾”tall, and 3”circumference. There are four different textures with these caps, they are as follow.

1. Has a rounded cap is smooth and it is good for the clit and all over the body.
2. Has 6 flat circles cap that are rigid and they are good for the clit and all over the body.
3. Has 12 spikes on the cap, so the texture is very spiky and it is not so good for the clit, but great for the feet.
4. Has many spikes, these spikes are in a circle and as you go to the center circle, the spikes get smaller. This is not great for the clit, but it is good for the body.

The problem with the caps is that they tend to pop off, which can be such a mood killer. Nothing worse than having the mood broken up, to fumble around just to find the MIA cap.

The size is easy enough to hide and fits nicely in your purse, so it great for travel.

This pocket rocket is powered by 1 AA battery, which you put inside. You do this by, twisting open the middle part; were the top and bottom meet; and slide the battery inside. After putting the battery inside, just twist all the way and it turns on. This is really easy to use, but it only has one speed. The speed is a really loud rumble that could be heard if there was no background sound, but it lacks in power. It still works good, but there are better options out there. It is a good deal though for $6.99. The vibrations are located on the metal disc, but spread through the whole rocket. The vibrations will rumble your hands and can make them numb. I have not noticed it to be a battery guzzler.

This toy is marketed as waterproof, but it can not be submerged. So you can take it into the shower, but not the bath, that makes it more splash proof than waterproof.

This toy is really easy to take care of, just lightly wash the top of the pocket rocket. The caps are completely submergible, but just need a quick soap and water wash. If you want to sanitize this toy and the caps an alcohol solution will do the trick.

This is small enough to store anywhere, from your purse to your nightstand. It is not discreet, so you should not leave it laying around for anyone to see.
