Soft Little Vesta

Dr. Berman has designed pretty close to the perfect toy for users who need something unobtrusive, soft, slim and powerful. Elegant and refined this toy is perfect for new users who may have some issues with sex toys or masturbation in general. It will work for the more experienced user as well as long as you bear in mind it's intended purpose!

extremely useful review
The Vesta is made of the softest and plushest TPR I have ever felt. It really moves in the hands and feels...well, exciting is the best word I can come up with. For a shy toy user this is a great feature. This toy is segmented by a line every few inches making the toy appear to have a continuous line spiraling down. It's actually very pretty. It is a light lavendar color with a silver band on the battery casing knob making it look elegant rather than screaming down and dirty sex toy.

It measures 6 inches in total length with about 5 to 5.5 inches being insertable depending on how large your hands are. This is a very slim toy, however, measuring only 3.5 inches in circumference. For size queens, like me, this isn't going to even hit the radar but if you are looking for a subtle experience or prefer slimmer toys then this is going to work just fine as a thrusting toy. This would be a great toy for couples who are new to toy play to learn what feels great during thrusting without the pain that a harder material such as hard plastic or glass could cause.

The Vesta takes two AAA batteries that slide into the barrel of the toy, which is pretty standard. My only complaint is the compartment is a bit hard to read if you are...let's say needing glasses. The compartment is well padded so there is no battery rattling noises and the toy is surprisingly quiet and powerful. It has a number of different settings that are rather powerfully stimulating. The vibrations are activated by a push button which means you won't be bothered by a loose wheel that changes the tempo of the vibrations at that crucial moment. It takes some force to change speeds so it won't be accidentally bumped during play and change tempo either.
The first press takes you through a cycle of different vibrational patterns rather than a straight pattern. It starts with a long pulse that goes into a short pulsing pattern that slowly speeds up until it reaches a crescendo before beginning over from the long pulse.
The second press takes you to another vibration pattern of long and short pulses and pauses. There's a bunch of variety and it keeps your body guessing.
The third press takes you to a fast pulsing pattern that doesn't vary, this one is fairly powerful and vigorous.
Press four times and you will get a straight vibration with no pulses or pauses.
The fifth press will take you to a pattern of straight vibration followed by some short pulses.
The sixth press will turn the vibrator off. This is another vibrator that you have to cycle through to turn off which might be a drawback for a shy user. Though it is very quiet it is noticeable if you are in the room with it.
The Vesta does not offer any variation in the strength of the vibrations which could be another drawback for those users who like very light or very heavy vibrations. I found this toy's vibrations to be high pitched, buzzy and very middle of the road in terms of power. I have a pretty amiable clitoris and G spot so I had no problem using the toy to completion but if you need a jackhammer or something extremely light then this probably won't work for you.

The Vesta is a rigid toy, it cannot be bent in the middle but it has a very soft tip that won't cause internal bruising. It also won't be able to provide extreme pressure to the G spot.
When lubed up the toy glides effortlessly inside and can be really nice for gentle probing or rubbing against the various erogenous zones of the vagina. You can use any lube your vagina and you prefer but please don't use this toy anally as it is very slim and has no flared base to prevent it from disappearing.

This toy cleans up easily but is still porous so if you share her you should cover her with a condom for total safety. One odd thing I noticed about the Vesta is the skin of the toy will pick up dyes either on your fingers or if you rest it on paper with ink on it. So you will want to use the toy and wash it right away to prevent ugly staining.
Wash her with mild soap and warm water. A washcloth can gently scrub away any discoloration. The Vesta is waterproof and after playing with her in the shower, I didn't notice any water leakage in the battery casing.
Experience
I have heard Dr. Berman speak about sexual dysfunction and I was impressed by her candor and her real desire to help women overcome these problems. I have always wanted to try her toys but they get pretty lack luster reviews by more experienced toy users. I kept in mind that this is supposed to be a toy to help women who have some hang-ups, either about toy use or masturbation in general. When viewed this way this toy scores extremely high, at least in my book. This toy is non threatening looking, slim enough that it won't cause a scared user to imagine they are being 'stretched out', and the vibrations are powerful enough to excite but not numb or burn the clitoris. In short, this is a great little vibe.

I just LOVE running my fingers over this toy! The skin of the toy is so darn soft and squishy, it just satisfies something inside to touch it. It feel the closest to a real penis that I have ever felt in a sex toy. The soft, plush outside over a harder core and spongy tip is amazing. I also love the fact that, although, it feels real it doesn't look real. It looks like a vibrator not a weird disembodied cock.

Now, I did notice a bit of ink transfer when the Vesta was resting on an open book on my desk. It smudged the surface of the toy but a bit of soap, water and a washcloth took it completely off.

In use the toy works great as a clitoral vibe, and a gentle thrusting or swirling vibe. It has no smell or taste and is quite elegant looking.
Follow-up commentary
Even though this vibrator is a bit too slender for my liking it is still a dang good little vibrator! I have recommended it for a few friends who prefer softer and smaller vibes an they have been pleased overall.

It's a great little toy, I'd consider it a staple of the ol' toybox if it didn't pick up colors from just about anything! Still it comes clean with a bit of rubbing and the rubbing doesn't damage the surface of the toy...so ya, it's a pretty good buy.

Thanks, Airen. It wouldn't be a good toy for me (I'm an inveterate size queen) but would be perfect for, like you said. a woman who may not be comfortable with self pleasing or sex toys.
