Squishy friend

The Vesta is a great vibrator for the inexperienced toy user who wants something bigger than a bullet vibe. The soft texture combined with a great shape and reasonable size will make a great toy for someone who wants a versatile all around vibrator.

Use

This is a great toy for solo use, or for partner play. As a solo tool, it provides a solid vibration and 5 different settings to play with. For playing with a partner it is easy to hold on to, and has some soft cushion to it. So even if your partner gets a little carried away, you shouldn't have to worry about hurting each other.

Material / Texture

The Vesta is made from a very squishy thermo-plastic rubber (TPR). However, all of the mechanic parts inside are rigid, so even though it is squishy, it will not bend at all. It is very smooth, and can be used with silicone or water based lubes. The outside texture is slightly velvety, but doesn't seem to pick up lint or dirt very easily.
    • Smooth
    • Somewhat porous

Design / Shape / Size

About 6 inch long simple vibrator with bumps along the way for stimulation as it is inserted and removed. The circumference is really not very large at 3.5 inches. If you are worried about some of the other vibrators having too much girth, no worries here.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Vesta is operated by 2(AAA) batteries. They slide in the bottom, where the single control button unscrews. The button clicks fairly easily, but not so easily that you might click it off unintentionally. You do have to click through the whole 6 click cycle to turn the toy off, so there's no fast getaway if someone is coming down the hallway and you need to put an end to playtime. The settings vary from steady vibration, to pulsing, faster pulsing, and some varieties. Plenty to choose from in case you get bored with one setting.

It is not easy to classify this one in terms of sound, but I would say you could hear it through a door in a quiet house for sure.
    • Easy to use
    • Multiple settings
    • Not very discreet

Care and Maintenance

You can wash this with toy cleaner in water or with a mild soap. TPR is porous, so always use a condom when sharing, and you can't boil it to disinfect. Water-based or silicone lubes will both be fine with this toy, but be careful if you store it on something with loose inks. I, like other reviewers, have noticed that it can pick up dyes from other items like newsprint, or something with lots of ink.
