This is a very versatile toy that can be used vaginally for light G-spot stimulation, clitorally, or for teasing on other parts of the body (nipples, thighs, back... use your imagination). It is great both as a solo toy or for use with a partner and works very well when used in conjunction with another form of stimulation, such as using the toy vaginally while receiving oral sex.

This toy is made of a very soft, flexible pink silicone with a matte finish. This material has no smell or taste.

The shape of this toy makes light G-spot stimulation possible, and it is designed with a slight upward curve for this purpose. Because this toy is so flexible and lacks a rigid spine, stronger G-spot stimulation like is possible with glass or hard plastic may not be very easy to achieve with the Silhouette. Still, it is a very effective design for both internal and external stimulation.

The Silhouette is fairly diminutive at 5" insertable by 1-1/4" in diameter, which makes it great for those who prefer something on the smaller side or to be used as a travel vibe.

This toy has light-up push button controls, with an up button which scrolls through the different patterns of vibration and a down button which is the toy's dedicated off button. This is especially convenient if you need to turn the toy off quickly--no need to scroll through all the different patterns.

The vibrations are located in the base and transmit fairly well throughout the length of the toy. The vibrations are surprisingly quiet for their strength and are of a lower, thrummier pitch.

Because this toy is made of silicone, its care is fairly simple and low maintenance. It is non-porous and can be cleaned using mild soap and warm water, a 10% bleach solution, or a toy cleaner. It should be stored separately from other silicone-containing toys and should only be used with water-based lubricants.

The packaging on the Couture line was a very welcome breath of fresh air compared to what I'd been used to seeing from California Exotics. Instead of nude or nearly nude models with seductive posing and expressions, this product comes in a simple recyclable cardboard box with the product name, a picture of the toy, and a tasteful stream of water.
