The toy requires several hours of charging before it is ready to use, so plan accordingly.  While my Synergy vibrator charged, I amused myself by examining the different heads.  There's a curved g-spotter, a pair of bunny ears for intense clit stimulation, a nubby ball, a shallow cup, and a pointed-end cup. 

I tried attaching the various heads to my charging toy.  Most of them went on very easily (you line up arrows on the toy and the handle and twist until they lock), but one of the heads did not want to come off when I twisted.  I twisted a little harder and ended up separating the head from the ring that allowed it to attach to the handle.  I was able to reconnect it, but I was annoyed to have damaged a part of the toy so easily. 

After waiting patiently for the toy to charge fully, I took myself to bed with the Synergy Pleasure System and some lubricant.  I found that the control buttons on the bottom of the toy were really small and hard to operate, especially with slippery fingers and a brain that was distracted by pleasure.  So I did what any self-respecting masturbating person would do- I cranked the toy up to its highest power and didn't mess with the buttons any more. 

I tried out all the heads and discovered that the pointed-end cup felt the very best on me.  I could use the more pointed end at the entrance to my vagina and then switch to the cupped end over my clit.  The bunny ears didn't do much for me, but all the others were nice enough.

And did the oscillations feel different from standard vibrations?  At first, I thought they didn't, but as I kept using the toy, I noticed that the sensations felt more gentle and deeper (if that makes sense) than the kind produced by regular vibrators.  The orgasms I had with this toy felt spreading, warm and calm.  They weren't at all like the usual fast, super-intense orgasms I get from typical vibrators. 

Which was better?  I really can't say.  I tend to like the fast and intense kind of orgasm, but the more gentle variety was also really lovely. 

The Synergy Pleasure System would work best for someone who likes lots of different options on their toys and who is happy with relatively gentle vibrations.
