Tera Patrick’s Neon Massager is certainly eye catching. However, while it is pleasing to the eye, it’s not the best… well… pleaser, so to speak.
The massager is good for a few things, but fails to impress in a few vital areas. It is a very well designed basic vibrator, with a small bullet in the core and a variable speed dial at the bottom. The inserted portion is made of a jelly substance, making for a unique feel, both to the touch and to the area of insertion. However, the jelly substance, the unique twirling shape of the vibrator, and the fact that it is not waterproof make cleaning very difficult. This little massager also vibes with the best of them – I am a fan of borderline intense vibrations, and at the middle of the shaft of this vibe, the vibrations are amazing. On the down side, the powerful vibrations also lead to a pretty powerful noise that could definitely be heard if you have a nosy roommate or paper-thin walls.
A big downer is that the further away from the bullet the vibe extends, the lesser the vibrations. This is partly on account of the jelly material, which is less conducive to vibrations than other harder materials. This makes the rabbit clitoral attachment practically useless, since it is nowhere near the bullet. I have discovered that this can be worked around if someone else is using the vibe on you, because by placing a few fingers at the very base of the vibe it can send a few light vibrations to the clitoral attachment. Soloing with this buzzing piece of jelly turns a masturbatory act into intense internal vibes with a little chunk of hard material poking at your clitoris.
This toy will probably not migrate to the bottom of my toy chest just yet. It still provides a good vibrating punch in at least one area where it is needed. Also, the unique twisted design makes a simple thrust motion doubly exciting, since it gently screws into your body with each penetration. A suggestion is to flip it upside down and place the tip of the clitoral attachment on the perineum. This will provide pressure, but not vibration, which will stimulate the area that is most often ignored by women when pleasuring themselves.
In short, if you are looking for a good, powerful vibe that isn’t a boring straight shot or a plain old boring penis, this vibe will do the trick. However, do not be lured in by the seeming appeal of the rabbit style clitoral attachment, because this part does not do the job it is intended to do.
