When I first chose this toy, I was intrigued that it was advertised as a G-spot stimulator, as most dolphin-shaped toys are reserved for the clitoral teasers. After that initial excitement that comes with a new toy, I wondered what in the world that smell was. Why, it was my new toy of course! The odor was not your run-of-the-mill "new toy smell"--it was ridiculously pungent. However, excited as I was to use it, I took it straight to the bathroom sink to give it a good wash...or three or four washes (I always would recommend washing your new toys before using them anyway). A bit of good news however, is that it's super easy to clean with soap and warm water. Luckily, after a little bit of love and elbow grease, my toy was as scent-free as it could get and I was a happy camper. []Editor's note: this toy is PVC, which is porous. After it was dry, I decided to test out its impressive ten vibration modes on my clit. I pressed the open mouth of the dolphin gently over my clit and turned on the first setting labeled, "foreplay". The vibration was a little more intense than I would consider to be foreplay, but I wasn't complaining. As I started getting a little more wet and into it, I began going through all of the rest of the settings- "tease", "arouse", "zoom", "wave", "pulsation", "vibration", "random", "racer", and of course, "climax". The soft mouth over my clit was quickly taking me to my edge so I decided to try it out as a G-spot stimulator. I inserted it slowly and carefully, but ouch! The PVC material is soft, but it was much more uncomfortable than it should have been. The mouth and fins were really obtrusive and almost sharp. I tried positioning it in all different ways hoping to get a better feel for it, but it was no use. After a few minutes of trying to get any part of the toy to hit my G-spot, I got frustrated and returned to my clit. I kept it on the "pulsation" setting (which feels just like it sounds it would) and had a perfectly good, no-frills orgasm. I must admit, I was a bit disappointed because it is called "Dolphin G-spot Stimulator" and it did nothing desirable for my G-spot. If you are one who loves toys that are just for your G-spot, I would definitely take a pass on this one.
