Use

The Fairy is a lovely, compact-sized bullet designed with a woman's touch in mind. It's easy to use, a cinch to clean, and has four different settings to have you coming in no time. This toy is best used for clitoral touch play. It would also be perfect for couples when placed between your clit and his shaft. Since it is remote controlled, it's great to have your partner choose which setting he feels would be perfect for the moment.

Material / Texture

While the bullet itself is smooth, the seam that runs along the middle is rather pronounced. It does make it look like it could be somewhat painful, like it could be "snagged." This wasn't the case; but, still, I would rather not be able to see it. The controller is a different story. It's obvious that they took their time designing it. The white plastic part is smooth to the touch, and the contoured sides are pink-coated with a rubber finish.

Design / Shape / Size

The size of this toy is somewhat small, but this would be great for anyone who likes their toys on the petite size. The bullet itself measures at under 2", so its size can make it somewhat hard to hold, depending on placement. The controller is of normal size and, with the rubber coating I mentioned earlier, it makes it very easy to handle. Since the Fairy is small, this makes it perfect for travel or for hiding away. The logo is pink and placed right in the middle of the controller. It is located underneath the power button. This button controls all of the toy's actions.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Controlling this toy is rather easy. You will have to cycle through each setting in order to get the toy to turn off. This gives you the chance to experience the four different choices, which I will try to describe.

1. Straight, medium-intense vibe.
2. Lower, slow pulse.
3. Low, faster pulse.
4. High, straight vibe which pauses four times and then returns to the straight vibe.

I have to admit the last one is my favorite. It's different from the usual straight vibration, so it gives it some variety. A bonus to the toy being small is that the noise is almost silent, making it easy to use just about anywhere. The Fairy runs on three AAA's.

Care and Maintenance

The Fairy never really says anything about being waterproof. I went ahead and washed the bullet with anti-bacterial soap and warm water. The toy emerged shiny and new, and it worked perfectly. The seam might collect "little bits," but I just took a Q-tip and cleaned in between. It might seem like a hassle, but cleaning your toys is a must. For the controller, I just sprayed with a toy cleaner and wiped it down. Since the toy is plastic, you're free to use whatever lube is your choice.

Packaging

There is nothing fancy about the packaging - it's just a clear plastic. There are no instructions, and it's not very discreet.

Personal comments

I really liked the Fairy. It was simple to use, got the job done, and had enough intensity to make it a regular toy of mine. It has a no-frills, straight-to-the-point feel about it while maintaining a cute, girly side.
