Depends on how you look at it. When I was young I used to play with candle wax and extension cords, but I don't really count that. I had no name for it at the time it was just me being "weird".

But my parents were very open about their sex life, and they were members of the community, I knew what it was and what was going on well when I was about 13, My family life wasn't everyone's I guess. I was honestly very resistant to it for awhile as I saw many of the bad relationships but I saw many good ones as well. My father also got on a huge macho father trip about his son not being a sub, which also pushed me away from the lifestyle. In the end I made the decision myself when my partner expressed interests and I went through the process to be trained because that is how I do thing. If your going to do it, you do it right I guess.
