Are there personality traits that show if a guy likes BDSM?

I cheated - I found mine at a dating site. A vanilla dating site, but when he has a screen name of 'knotty_or_nice' ... yeah.

There are different grades of male Dom, so there aren't any set 'traits' to be able to look for. Outwardly my Master is polite, inconspicuous, gentlemanly, quiet, serene ... what everyone associates with the boring and vanilla 'Nice Guy'. By ourselves he's intense, demanding, and firm.

I guess if I had to pick through a line up, it'd be the quiet introvert with a gleam in his eye. There's a reason the cliche of "It's always the quiet ones ... " exists.

Well, with dom guys, I've also noticed that it tends to be the quiet ones. My first boyfriend (and now one of my closest friends) is a really hardcore dom, and he's generally the most quiet, inoffensive looking guy.

I'm also one of the quiet, serious ones... though all my friends, after the initial shock of my dom-ness wore off, were like "Yeah, not surprised. Of course you are".
