I live in Hawaii - the scene here is...mild to say the least. I want to learn more about being a Domme, but have such limited means here and most of the sites I've visited have been less than helpful. Any ideas on where I could visit (online or IRL) to get what I'm after?

Agreed. Fetlife is best for all of it. (And they're running an amazing contest right now.)

Also, your best bet for learning about BDSM is books, really. I actually recommend "The Female Guide to Sensual Dominance" to learn about Domme-activities. Another great resource is a mentor. I know a lot of Dommes (including myself, if you just let me know) are very happy to help out new people to the scene.
