I have a cane on my wish list. I have been flogged, whipped, spanked... never caned, so I am interested to experience it. It is a limit we are both willing to test and if either of us are uncomfortable with it, we won't continue. I am anxious to try for pleasurable reasons, not looking forward to its use for punishment, but then again I never look forward to punishment.

We don't really save certain toys for play and punishment, it is more of a change in mindset and a bit rougher with the execution when it comes to punishment. He Monday he may spank me into a wave of orgasms, but I made do something Tuesday that displeases him and results in him spanking as punishment, but because I am going into it with a different expectation and mindset, it will not be an orgasmic experience.

I found one that's got a teflon core covered in leather. I'm really excited, since the last leather one I found was meant to be used in dressage, so it wasn't very sturdy. Sir ended up breaking it on me, but to be fair, He was using it a lot harder than anyone would use it on a horse (well, anyone who didn't want to be reported to the SPCA, anyway.)
I especially like leather since it doesn't have quite the sting His rattan and fiberglass ones do, so I can take it for much longer.

I enjoy having pain inflicted on me. Canes can be intense. We have a rattan cane and an acrylic (?) one. My wife was uncomfortable with leaving welts at first, but now that she knows I like it that hard, sometimes she really lets me have it!

We switch. If I even pick up and swish the cane through the air while I'm dominating, she immediately becomes extremely polite and obedient!
