If Eden had a weekly/monthly/or whatever time frame have you, photo contest where you could submit interesting photos, would you be interested? Why and why not?
I saw this link . While I don't think pictures should have anything to do with rating or the usefulness of your review, it started this wheel turning in my head. Being a photo taker and lover, I've noticed Eden has a Photography Club link on the forum, but there have been no meetings since February and it is seldom posted in. Are there any photographers on Eden?

Participation can be done in a few ways in this hypothetical situation.

This would be really nice! I could see this bringing a lot of the members out of hiding and back into participation.

Badass... I was having a similar idea.

Mine was funky toy pictures. I have been reading more reviews of products I am not all that interested (for future review styles) and the pictures people used in their reviews.

I was thinking of trying to stress that the pictures have nothing to do with reviews, just something for the Forums, where people could take their pictures of their toys and "funk" them up. For example in my Alien Invasion Diaries I tried to make the pictures look old fashioned. And with some of the photo programs out there one can totally change their picture, reverse the colours and so much more. I thought it'd be neat to have a photo contest each week or month where people post their funky toy pictures.

That was my idea.

I would totally participate in this. Photography is one of my passions and I like to think I have a good eye. What types of photos are we talking; erotic, general? I'd do both. I think we should look into doing this, maybe get it set up where participants vote on their favorite photo and the winner gets a gift card, or a novelty product of some sorts.

I love taking photos and sharing them. As long as I'm not in the photo I'm ok with it. I like to stay as anonymous as possible here on Eden because it's fun for me. I love taking pictures of other stuff though! Anything and everything. It sounds fun.

I like this idea of diffrent types of photographs each month or twice a month and giving out a prize of some kind for this. I so wish that this club would start back up because I love to take photographs but still have a lot to learn. I am reading some of the articals in the blog but still would love to have someone to ask about some things.
I hope we can get this going again even if someone else takes over for a little while. I am sure that the comunity would be willing to take it on and join the fun. I sure would.

I don't like the pictures or videos at all cuz it gives an unfair advantage to those of us who don't have the capability to do them.

Now days anyone with a cellphone and a computer can take a picture and upload it. I think it is a Great idea, since it will encourage users to add pictures to there reviews. Pictures are very helpful and sometimes are the deal maker or breaker in my purchase decisions.

It would be a photo contest, not something mandatory. Also you don't have a phone that can take pictures by the year 2013?

I think it would be a cool idea, more fun then just pinning things on pintreast (idk what it's called) or liking something to win a prize.
