Post: Erotic Poetry from E.E.???

My blog mainly is romantic/risque/erotic /pornographic poetry written by me but sometimes I feature posts about similar work from famous poets (as well as some other random posts). This post explores the romantic and risque (and in at least one instance downright dirty) poetry of e.e. cummings, which I think most people are not aware of, because so much emphasis is place on works which focus on other themes, even though he had a large body of this kind of poetry, including a collection of poems titled, Erotic Poems. I give some background info on the poet, as well as his unusual use of literary devices, which he was most well-known for, and the themes he's most remembered for before going into the romantic and erotic poems (3 in total, each progressively explicit), which I try to interpret briefly to the best of my ability. There are tons of links to any info in the post you could possibly want to learn more about or need further explanation of and while it sounds long, it's really a quick read. And, of course, I put my own unique spin on all of it. less
