Hello everyone! Some of you are already familiar with the Community Planning Thread. For those that are not familiar with this thread, this is where you go to leave your ideas and suggestions for clubs and possible site changes.

The idea of the thread is to be a sort of suggestion box, like you would find in most reputable businesses who care about their customer feedback. You guys mean a lot to us and so it's only natural you get to decide what we should call this!

I don't know about you guys, but I think the name could use a little tweaking? Yes? Ok, so now that we are all in agreement, let's brainstorm!

My only suggestion is that we try to stay away from the words "planning" and "meeting", since it's now a month long thread.

We'll vote on your suggestions next Tuesday, May 1st. So let's get creative!

I think that you should add a link at the top of the page to the right where it shows your messages and see if you have any new ones. That just gives the entire website a more community feel.

Over in my Rant thread, Lilac and Zombirella had some good points about the option on a product page that lets us post a thread about the product. The idea is to make that a search button instead. This would help folks search for a topic that may have already been talked about. Our/my hope is that it would not only lessen the spam/point farming threads but also teach folks how to search first.

I got to thinking last night that it could also look like a "Like" button you would find on FB. In that case folks would not know any better nor would they think to check for responses, if they could find them.
