My husband and I really wanted the Liberator Wedge/Ramp combo, so I've been saving and saving and saving points so we could get it... Double points week finally put us at the amount we needed, but then we discovered that the only Liberator furniture on EF that's still in stock is the Pulse...

Now, I read in the forums that EF and Liberator split last year (Fred bought-out Liberator for ownership of EF or something to that extent), but it also said that EF would continue carrying and selling Liberator products... So where'd they all go?!?

They discontinued them without explanation. They're now carrying another company's similar products.

Why don't you try position pillows by other companies - we have no right to ask Eden why they discontinued carrying Liberator products - it's their company's business.

I'm not attacking EF for no longer carrying Liberator products- I was simply making an inquiry as to when and why it happened.
I got the impression from JR's post in the forums (about Liberator and EF separating) that Liberator products would continue to be sold on edenfantasys.com, so I was confused when they were no longer available.
Again, not an attack or a demand for an explanation. I was just curious.

And to answer your question about position pillows from other companies- That is a viable option, but at the same time, I'm not as familiar with those products as I am with Liberator, which I've been eying for years.

Eden is no longer carrying Liberator products (this is a recent development), BUT, they are carrying another line called Perfect Position. Check them out here: link

I have the Mini Try-Angle from the line, which I believe is comparable to the Wedge from Liberator. (And I love it, I'm propped up on it in bed right now typing! ) Personally, I like the Perfect Position one better for a variety of reasons. To avoid listing them here, I'll just suggest you read my review on it if you're really interested.

The line also appears to have something comparable to the Ramp/Wedge Combo, called the Try-Angle Cushion.

My guess is that Perfect Position may continue to expand its line. But at the very least, I imagine Eden will continue to expand what they carry too, because there are also position pillows from other companies available here. The Perfect Position ones seem to be the best Liberator replacements at the moment though.

I know you're not attacking them, but still, EF does not need to explain to us why they're discontinuing certain products. Fred Petrenko already explained in his interview "it didn’t work out and Eden eventually split out". So, EF probably decided it is time to move on and carry other companies' products.

The Mini Try-Angle that Indiglo suggested sounded pretty cool, just like the Wedge.

I was lucky enough to get just about every liberator shape they had on this site, before they stopped carrying them. I noticed that eden has changed a lot. I just heard that they will not be carrying porn DVDs any longer. I was looking forward to getting the starwars XXX, oh well.

Just wait until there are reviews on the new pillows, then pick out the one that would work best for you. I know it sucks when you have your mind set on a certain product, just to be told you cant get it any longer.

Me too! I have the wedge, the ramp with built-in restraints, and the axis hitachi. I was looking forward to writing reviews for all of them, but can't find the products anywhere on EF! Color me very disappointed... Liberator makes high-quality positioning gear that I know I can trust.

I'm really glad you posted this and got so many answers. I had the same question, and it really helps to have so many good alternatives already listed here by other people.
