So trim him!!!

Better yet tie him up and trim him.

Even a slow seductive night where you do the shaving has potential. I know one gentlemen who has never once been shaved by a woman. He craves it, and he likes his balls and cock clean.

I've decided to surprise my husband tonight - I went for the bare look this morning. I like your suggestion, DBD, about trimming him tied up - that could be fun this evening, as I've asked him to change the cover on the Esse (grinning with anticipation)

I did that one day. Sometimes, he will let me trim him- which makes for a great night! I didn't tie him up because being a cop, he has issues with control but it was still fun and he enjoyed greatly!
Have fun and report back!!

I'm to lazy to shave. I hate having to spend more time in the shower than I need too. I usually try to just trim it up a bit or go natural. My husband doesn't care either way as long as he gets some. I prefer him to be natural or lightly trimmed. I've found that the friction from the hair causes better orgasms, at least for me.

I'm a shaver... I just prefer the feeling on myself. And I'm OK with whatever my partners choose to do (or not to) to their hair, I just ask for the same respect.

I had terrible trouble with ingrown hairs. That's why I actually did laser hair removal - upto a brazillian line. That leave me an option that I like. It's not perfect, but it's easy. I frequently shave daily or sometimes let it grow. Much easier now.

Shaving & trimming only started for us late last year. About the same time I researched and ordered sex toys for the first time ever, I thought, in the quest for new sensations, shaving and trimming might be worth a go.

So I trimmed the hair on upper pubic bone a bit (being a Canadian with the usual dollop of Scottish ancestry, there's that Sean Connery or even Austin Powers genetic disposition to generous body hair, so any transition to a shaved area had to be well thought out, or appear way too laughable) and shaved my package. I thought my wife was going to wet herself giggling that night, when she unexpectedly grabbed onto a smooth pair of balls. (In fact she somewhat comically pulled back her hand and yelped at the first hairless touch.)

I figured if I was going to get her to try, I'd better give it a go first.

I told her she was next, and at an appropriate kid-free interval some days later, I did just that...very carefully.

Now we both shave below the pubic mound every day or so while in the shower from choice; the added sensitivity seems to have clenched it. I'd have to say it increases both the surface area for head, and the frequency and duration of the play. We don't seem to have a problem with ingrown hairs, and I think daily touch-up shaves seems to help with that. Certainly in the shower is the best (an old athlete's trick is to shave (face) in the sauna for the closest, problem-free shaves, but that is a luxury few have.)

And for the men...I have to say that I was absolutely terrified of shaving my balls and taint, and the 1/2" to inch above the base of the cock...but with a very good razor, it's no more a problem than shaving your face. I never would have believed it, but nothing gets caught or cut.

I don't mind whether it's covered or clear, frankly, but at the moment shaven seems the choice.

And I prefer to think of it as a Classical (as in Greco-Roman) rather than porn heritage or fashion.

NEW PIECE OF KNOWLEDGE FOR THE DAY:
The bleaching of assholes.

(and I thought overwhitening of teeth was as far as it went.)

This reminds me, has anyone seen those commercials for those "smooth away" hair removal things? You use them to buff the hair off or something. I've been thinking about getting some of them, but it looks way too easy to actually work. And I'd figure it would cause ingrown hairs like everything else, but I don't know.

The principal behind Smooth Away is just sandpaper. Women used to use very fine grade sand paper during WWII, or so I'm told, as part of the war effort (since shaving requires metal blades). The hair is rubbed off the way you'd rub splinters from a piece of wood using, well, sandpaper!

I used to use something similar for my legs and it worked very nicely, without ingrown hairs. I've been vacillating about buying Smooth Away to use on my bikini line and pubic area.

...principle, even. Time to go to bed when I can't spell principle.

Well, I have to say, my husband was surprised, but the tying up went the other way and I didn't get a chance to trim him. Maybe sometime this week.
It did seem to turn him on a lot!

Personally, since I started shaving I didn't want to stop because of the irritation of hair growing back. When I watch porn, I've found that I really don't like looking at any woman's pubic hair unless it's like a landing strip. As for my hubby, for the most part, he has a bush. I think it's hot. I haven't on any other man, but he can get away with it. I have him trim only so I don't end up with a mouth-full of hair.

I have to shave it! I just use a regular razor, like a good disposable. I have been shaving it for years, and only ever cut myself once, and it was more of a nick. I got this stuff last summer- a Nair product that is for use in the shower. You apply it, go on with your shower, then wash it off. It will not run. Now that statement didn't quite sound right, but I followed the directions and used it anyway and guess what? Yep, it ran- in places that you really do not want chemicals. I walked funny for 2 days, and healed in about a week. I completely betrayed my better judgement, and for that, I paid out the ass-literally!

Nair burns when it's just on your legs; I can't imagine what it feels like in a vulva!

Personally, I prefer to have just a little bit of hair. Clean shaven is nice, but it itches so badly when it starts to grow back. I've seen the 'landing strips' in several magazines and think it's cute, unfortunately I can shave a straight line it seems. My husband likes to stay clean shaven himself, but I don't have a preference for him. I like it either way on him.

I like to keep all but the top of my mound shaved. I like the way it feels in my panties during the day. It really isn't practical though because I am so blind w/o my glasses or contacts and I usually wind up in the shower without either. My partner doesn't care, so I usually just keep my labia trimmed very closely with an electric trimmer, shave my bikini line, and let the mound get a little longer.

I don't care if my partners shave or if I get their hair in my mouth - I'd just like to be able to get my mouth to it's intended destination without too much hunt!
