It can be very difficult to be in a long-term monogamous relationship with someone of the same sex. From social to legal pressures, it doesn't seem worth all the hassle. So if I could choose who to love and be attracted to, it would be the opposite sex. Unfortunately, our attractions and developing feelings are not always so pragmatic.

I only answered man because I'm not ready to deal with my whole family (although my parents would be great - a lot of my family is quite conservative), and I do like guys, and I'm dating a guy right now. I would say I'm kind of more attracted to girls, although it's basically equal, but I've never been in a relationship with a girl, so who knows.

Like many on here, I couldn't and won't choose. I am the type of person that needs both men and women in my life. Though I consider myself someone who always prefers women, I do crave both, and when I'm with one exclusively, I long for the other. I know that realistically I will always have to have both in some capacity. Right now I'm in a relationship with a man, and hope to marry him. That being said, we are open to having women involved, and in fact seek them out. I'd be very happy to have a triad relationship with him and a woman.
