There's a Star Trek convention in town this weekend so I'm wondering who everyone's favorite Star Trek characters are. Mine has to be Seven of Nine.

On a side note, I don't understand why people pay money to take a photo with actors who guest starred in a single episode and haven't acted in anything else significant.

I would have a really hard time picking a favorite, a lot of them have a lot of different moments where they were totally badass and awesome.

Uhura - when a virus causes the crew to act out, Chekov (I believe) 'fights off' monsters, grabs Uhura and says "I'll save you, fair maiden!" and she replies "Excuse me - neither!" Total class.

I'm a total geek and love a lot of the characters as well. If I had to pick one, it would probably be Worf. They gave him some great lines.

I gotta go "Q". John DeLancey (sp) has always been one of my favorite actors.

I love the idea of the Borg too. Sentient advanced tech zombies...that's pretty cool.

Mine are Seven of Nine (naturally - she is so friggin HOTTTTTTT), Neelix and I LOVE Quark!!!

I'm torn between Beverly Crusher and B'Elanna Torres. I think if it came down to it, it would have to be B'Elanna. I adored TNG but I was a kid when it came on, and my local network stopped airing DS9 for some crazy reason, so Voyager was the one on when I was in the right age to really UNDERSTAND good scifi (and tv in general) and I latched onto B'Elanna.
