How often do you go to the theatre for a movie?

I think about once or twice a year. I used to use Netflix, and now I can't afford little luxuries like that. My campus has a lot of free movies that they show on campus. the get the reels from the local movie theater about 2 months after movies have stopped playing there.

I love going to the movies! Its more about not finding the time to do so than not wanting to, which is why a lot of movies end up in home instead of in theater.
I would say I go 1-2 a month, but I'd go more often if I had the time!

I'm not a big fan of theaters. It's the theater experience + atmosphere. But background noise is annoying.

I love going to film festivals. I tend to avoid watching mainstream movies in theaters because their audiences tend to be distracting and ruin the experience.

It's probably been over 2 years since we went to the movies. First, I don't care to go. I'm not really a movie person. But secondly, if I was to watch a movie, I would pay those ridiculous prices.

I've just recently started going a bit more often to this little theater that has $3 movies which are a little bit older than the ones in other theaters but still not out on video yet. And to me occasionally and sometimes are the same.

My best friend and I go to the movies almost all the time. There's really nothing else to do around here but drink, party, or go to the movies. We enjoy our girl dates They usually involve ICEE's and mozzarella sticks.

I used to work at a movie theater and got free movies, so I would go at least once a week. I haven't worked there in a year and I have only been once since I lost my job.

I used to live about 5 minutes from a movie theatre and get discount tickets from work, so I went at least a couple of times a month. Now I'm living about half an hour from the closest one, so I hardly ever go. I miss being close!

I used to go to the movie theater every weekend it seemed like. Now it has been over a year since I went to see a movie in the theater. The problem is nothing has come out that I just HAD to see. Nothing good came out this year so I couldn't be bothered to go.

We decided a couple of years ago that we were done with indoor theatres. Rather wait awhile and spend less money on the DVD that can be watched over and over than a on one-shot showing.

I am not sure what you consider occasionally. We go about once a month, sometimes twice a month. It is defiantly a treat. It costs the 3 of us, with tickets and popcorn and drinks, roughly $50. We only go when there is something we really want to see like Harry Potter and True Grit; those were the last ones we saw.

Here it is 10.75 to get in for a regular movie and for a 3D it is 13.75. That makes for a very expensive night out.

We do date nights at least twice a month, usually once a week unless there's a lot going on with work schedules/school stuff for the kids. It's expensive, but we budget for it. I think the last movie we saw in theaters was Paranormal Activity 2 but it seems like there was one even more recently. We saw HP7 too. Maybe it has been since before the holidays. We need to find a movie to see soon!
