Delivering newspapers, as well as working at a family owned business. Minimum wage back then was less than a dollar an hour.

At 14-15 I had a monthly job as a kennel assistant and then as a cleaner for a groomer. They didn't last especially long. The non profit only had so much money and I was not doing anything life or death.. Just changing cat boxes and cleaning out bath tubs.

My first job after that was fast food.... It was awful, but fast food always is.

When I was 13 I had a regular babysitting job I watched a families kids specific hours on specific days for a weekly rate and if they wanted more hours I got extra money for the over time. So I think that falls into your work description even though you say babysitting doesn't count. However I also started working at a home daycare center when I was 14.
