We usually have so many dishes, I do both. I fill up the dishwasher, and then finish off the pile by hand.

Both. The dishwasher is run every night with glasses, plates, etc. Pots and pans are hand washed.

I have some dishes that are just too awkwardly sized to put in the dishwasher, so we'll wash them. But most of the time it's right into the dishwasher and when it's full we'll wash it.

I do my dishes in the dishwasher whenever it gets full, which is usualy every other day, and wash pots and pans by hand.

I do both. Regular dishes, silverware, cups go in the dishwasher and it gets run when it's full. Pots, pans and such get done by hand.

As much as possible, everything goes in the dishwasher. It runs when it's full or when all the forks are gone (for example). lol There are still some items that need to be washed by hand, so those few get washed by hand, while everything else goes right in the dishwasher.
