I don't tan and don't sunbathe for a few reasons. I did work in dermatology and after seeing what happens, I refuse. I also am very fair toned and have the whole red-haired Irish thing going on, so I can go out for 5 minutes and come in looking like a lobster lol. So I don't like the added risk.

I do not sunbathe. If I have something to do outdoors and it happens to be sunny, then great. However, I don't go out of my way to specifically bathe in the sun and do nothing else.

I burned once, bad, when on a Mediterranean island. I was LOBSTER red. I have burned ever since, but once in a great while I may still...with sunscreen, lay in the sun to get a little "color" (not look pasty white). We have a wonderfully private yard and a high privacy fence, so "all natural" sunbathing is possible, without fear of anyone seeing, and I can get a slight, but nicely "all over" tan.

Any tan is unhealthy and damaging to your skin so I don't sunbathe or use tanning beds. Plus, I actually really like my porcelain color!

If you happen to have a nice place where you can do that, it IS kind of great. Since we have a VERY private yard, with locked gates, we can add a little outdoor romance there sometimes too (my hubby gets SO turned on watching me sunbath nude, for some reason), but sadly, the BUGS have no respect for the "privacy" of our yard...and all the bug zappers, fancy traps and misting devices on earth cannot keep them ALL at bay!

I live very very far north, so on the rare occasions that we get enough sun for me to sun bathe I am out collecting as much vitamin D as possible

i dont sunbathe, but of course, in the mornings during the weekdays (not weekends) i got out for a walk early in the morning, and the sun is right above me, so i tend to burn anyways

I do. Being Greek and Mexican, I have only gotten a very small handful of sunburns in my whole life, and I've never really used sunscreen. That being said, I have to be careful when I sunbathe because I have tattoos.

I love tan lines!!! Of course I do!!

I get kind of bored just laying there in the sun doing nothing after about fifteen minutes or so. So usually, my version of sun bathing is desert walking, or mountain hiking, or just going for a walk. The further I am out of the city, the less clothes I have to wear.

This summer, if I do make it to Dandong, I plan to jump the wall and do some nude sun bathing in North Korea for shits and giggles. Last time I was there... we had a snow ball fight over the wall.
