Just wondering if anyone uses internet "tv" sites such as Hulu or Netflix rather then spending big bucks on cable or direct tv? Which do you use? :)

Have DirecTV. I do wish it was less expensive, but I watch too many live sports events to drop it.

I pay for Netflix, use free Hulu, and don't have cable/satellite TV. Soooo much cheaper!

I use Netflix, even though it sucks at times. Crackle is just a joke. HuluPlus takes forever to load. So I just stick to my Direct Tv. I wish I could find a better way.

We have cable but I'd get a nexflix account if it were worth it. I don't need a TV to survive, it's mostly background noise.

I use hulu to catch up episodes I missed, but I don't pay for it. If I had to watch all my TV on this potato of a computer, I'm not sure I'd still be sane.

I don't have cable. I don't see a point. I have Netflix and what I can't find on Netflix I can find streaming on the internet.

This is a great question since we just moved and are looking at our choices. Looks like we will be using Netflix and Hulu, since we can't afford both cable and Internet right now with the prices we had to choose one and was strongly debating with two kids, but I think opting out of cable is still a great option after reading these responses.

I recently started using Hulu. I can't afford cable or netflix, and I don't watch many shows anyway. Hulu has a huge selection, too.

I have netflix but I do not like it as much as I used to. I wouldn't purchase cable, though. Too expensive and encourages me to watch more tv.

I still use satellite. I would love to go with the internet options, but I have a really cheap satellite package so it isn't worth it yet. Plus, I like being able to watch sports live.

Netflix is alright, Hulu's ads are hellish, we tend to just search for stuff streaming somewhere or borrow stuff. We haven't had cable, ever, once I moved out of my parents I swore I'd never get it again, I hate cable. There's so much CRAP on TV these days, I'd much rather just search for things when I want to watch them instead of sitting in front of a box that feeds me commercials and bullcrap.
