Mostly I go to thrift stores, but I'll go to department stores for things I'd rather not get used, like underwear and socks.

I do like shopping at the thrift store ...
... but I also want to shop in real clothing stores where everything is new and in several sizes (including average ... seems the only women who donate to thrift shops are under 5 feet tall). My dream is to be able to walk into a funky clothing shop, be able to afford their stock, and not be laughed out due to my size because I'll finally be a size that can fit into their clothes.

Thrift stores and cheap clothing stores like Rue 21 and Forever 21. I don't mind shopping at Wal-Mart or Target but I don't do it often.

dillards is probably my fav store, even though i can't afford anything there most of the time. they used to have the BEST disc racks. i LOVE shopping online, & i super love shoedazzle & justfab. i'm a shoe-a-holic. i actually browse around a lot online before i will go shopping at the store.

I am not surprised to see people thrift shop, but I am surprised by how many do. I don't know why I should be surprised, but it wasn't something I really thought about all that much. I like that all those people who donate clothes really do get them into other people's hands instead of chucking them into a landfill! I am also always pleased with how honest everyone is here about whatever they answer! Thanks for answering, I read every one!

I have found the service & quality it so much better than anything I could otherwise afford. (Due to allergies & other sensitivities, I cannot buy used clothes.)

Bras and undies I get at the mall although I also get lingerie online

And I'm embarrassed to admit it but Walmart is great for yoga pants.
LUV luv luv specialty goth/cosplay/rockabill y/punk/steampunk shops but
Can only afford clearance section (ha! Maybe that's cause I have over 200 vibes and dildos!)

So I think walmart and target should be sepearted from normal clothing department stores. The clothing slection is far different! Though I do shop at both.
