Anybody else here under the tornado or severe storm watches? I'm terrified! We're still recovering from last month's tornado! How's the weather in your area?

Ugh! I hate tornadoes and we're (georgia) supposed to be getting bad storms in a few hours and tomorrow night is supposed to be rough for us.

Anyone else in one of the many states who are experiencing the same? Which state? How do you plan to get through it? Any stories/advice to share? Sorrry, I get really bad anxiety!

I'm in Texas. We are technically not under Tornado watch, as far as National TV states. But in the last two weeks I've gotten phone calls from my mother and father telling me there are tornado watches in my area. Last Tuesday, I believe, I was on eden from my empty pantry waiting for the storm to pass. It's been really, really, really gray and you can feel the pressure in the air! Like your ears are going to pop!

I'm in Canada and we are getting a shitload of rain, we have been for a long time now, with intermittent days of sunshine. I am not in the really badly flooded area of the Monteregie, but we still get a little flooded anyways but not enough to have the army over.

Oh wow! That sounds scary! I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing the yucky weather too. It's going pretty good here now and it's 4 am. We had wind, but so far nothing more! Our county is on the list though and thursday, well today, it's supposed to be rough from noon to 6 PM then get better. I hope this stuff passes us all!

We are calling for strong storms this afternoon with a few severe storms. I also am scared when there is a tornado warning for this area.

I am also in Canada and so there is nothing like that going on. We have had quite a bit of rain over the last few weeks as well. We have not had any flooding though.

You guys in the danger zones stay safe.

I am in South Texas and while it has been bypassing us. I have a sister in NE Oklahoma and one right outside of Joplin Mo and they have been getting beat up the last week. Be safe, hope everything works out good.

Yesterday was a doozy....the town just 15 miles away got ripped apart while we suffered a few rain showers and bright clear skies. Was crazy!

We've had several watches and warnings the last several days here in the Kansas City area. It's pretty scary stuff but we have been lucky so far.

I'm near Chicago and we've had watches on and off for a few weeks with a whole bunch of rain on and off. We've been fortunate enough to not experience any tornadoes tho. Other than some light hail and heavy wind/rain all we've gotten really is some power outtages and a few downed branches. Funny story, at my night job the power surging and going in and out tripped the alarm on our vault. I went to leave work one night to be met by two of that town's finest as they were trying to figure out what the hell I was doing there so late. I did convince them I wasn't trying to get into the vault, I didn't set off any alarms that I knew of, and I was just trying to get home. I completely understand that they were just doing their job and I wasn't about to hassle them for it, but it was still a little scary, lol.

No. I left the midwest for the south and still have family there so I still worry about all the damage. I am praying that these crazy weather patterns stop!

I'm in central Europe, and I've never seen a tornado. But we have silly summers here, every weekend a thunderstorm comes, then the rest of the week is nice and hot. Then again, every week there is an elusive big storm, then peace again. I don't understand what's happening, it's never been like this. Only in the past few years.

Well, I'm very sorry to hear those of you who've had the storms. We're in the middle of ours right now! It's scary, but the hail has passed and it's looking like we're only going to get thunderstorms thank God!

I hope the weather is OK for all of you! I'm sorry to hear about the Joplin area. During our tornadoes, I was hearing the radio warn our area and the Joplin area. I was terrified!

Was a wild night, but we made it through just fine. My thoughts are with those who are suffering more than us.

It finally passed, and now it's hot and dry! I swear, the weather here changes like within minutes. Since my last post 2 days ago we've gotten rain, cold weather, hot weather, and humid weather!

We were under the tornados in Memphis. We had neighbors with smashed roofs and fallen trees, but thankfully no one in my area was seriously hurt!

No, heat advisories instead, which made me worried about loved ones going to an outdoor concert.

Alabama here.
the weather right now is MAD. Neighbors have a fire truck at their house, they were just hit by lightning. The area is still torn up from the tornadoes a couple of months ago, and this isn't helping
