I'm single..

I'm 22 and never had a date. To shy to leave the house.. LOL

When ever a girl talks to me I say stupid things, it's like WTF where did that come from... I remember talking to someone on the phone it was even a dude and he asked for some kind of number that was like 4 digits long and I must have said about 30 numbers in rapid fire mode. they were all the wrong numbers too...
I gave him my old house number, my mom and dads phone number and my social security number.. LOL all he wanted was a 4 digit number. I got scared and started listing all the numbers I knew...

I dunno maybe I will find someone who thinks its hilarious to listen to me freak out and say weird stuff and think its cute... that would be an epic find... Maybe my lack of experience would be a nice change of pace for them.. I dunno.. or they could just think I'm weird and laugh..

Is there a difference between 'dating' and, something like, 'exclusive relationship'? I put dating, but then saw that there's no like 'bf/gf' option. I'm somewhere between single and dating, or something like that.

There is a difference between exclusive relationship and dating. Just dating implies that there's no set ground rules. But saying "Oh, this is who I am dating." implies that there is an exclusive relationship.

You could always look in to a sexual surrogate. They're often a good choice for people who are painfully shy and are unsure how to communicate properly. I'm not sure how you go about enlisting the help of a sexual surrogate, however, nor how much their services cost--it probably wouldn't be cheap, since to the best of my knowledge, "real" sexual surrogates are also licensed therapists.

Hit married, but at times both in the past and potentially future that might be married/swinging.

My partner and me are together and have been for almost three years. But we're not engaged, and we're not married. I consider us to just be together and committed to one another.

Two serious relationships situated very close together on the timeline in the last few years, the first ending badly and the second the rebound from hell. I'm Free, I'm Free!! lol

We've been together for nearly a year and half now. We have a lot of plans for the future, but waiting until we're both in a better situation economically and I'm out of school.

I'm with you on the school thing. It's good to have a stable foundation to build on.

Homosexuals are not allowed to marry nor can they have partnership rites in Hawaii, so "other".

Agreed. Unfortunately, as in my case, when one's partner has to put school on hold for a while, the timeframes you plan for things like engagement and marriage suddenly get kinda murky... Are we waiting for me to graduate (from undergraduate), or are we waiting for both of us to graduate? Are we waiting for me to finish my PhD, or you to have a steady job with part-time classes? Or are you going back to school full time, when I'm in undergrad/graduate school/have a steady job?

Can we say major headache? But worth every minute of it. So we're still happily between dating and engaged for now.

Yeah I had a sister that was engaged (and living together) technically for 10+ years because they just never got around to having a ceremony and doing the paperwork. I always just treated them as married since it was obvious the guy wasn't going anywhere anytime soon! Eventually they ran off and eloped, and nothing has really changed as a result other than their tax return perhaps

I checked 'other'; technically not married yet but definitely past the 'dating' stage..

I clicked "other" because while I do have a partner, I do date other ppl (and yes, he knows about it). We consider our love a marriage contract of sorts and plan to spend the rest of our lives together, but do not plan on ever getting married.

I've been with my partner for less than a year, but we knew each other for a number of years, each having crushes on the other and not saying anything. When we finally did get together, it was crazy how perfect we were for each other. We moved in together recently and it is fantastic. I am head-over-heels over this boy and it feels like we've been together for years instead of just months.
