I voted that I'm indifferent. I don't really care what the packaging looks like because that doesn't necessarily mean it will be a good product or not. I agree with most that if the packaging is especially nice or good for storage that it is one thing to show it in a video review, but I won't be upset if it's not shown in the video.

I'd like to know what y'all think about packaging in video reviews. I've seen videos where products are shown completely free of packaging, others where they are shown in the original packaging and taken out, and still others that just show the packaging separately. To keep this poll simple, I'm presenting three options below, and I'd love for you to elaborate on your answer!
I realize that everyone will read these choices differently. I like to see packaging if it's relevant (maybe it's good for storage, maybe it's good for gifting), but I don't care about it if a product just comes in a plastic bag. Maybe you'd rather just hear about the toy and not waste time on the packaging. Maybe you like to see if the packaging is tasteful. Sometimes packaging of a toy just looks cheap and inappropriate. Honestly, I'd much rather have sophisticated packaging on a toy, especially if I'm spending a lot of money on it. Additionally, from other sites I've ordered from in the past, the packaging can be hugely important, especially if what's inside a package is easily identifiable to the delivery person! (Yes, it has happened. -.-) I think video reviews should always at least briefly mention the packaging.

I like to see the packaging regardless. Also because I'd like to know how it'll have to be stored before I buy. I do really appreciate nifty, unique packaging that can be kept, instead of having to toss out a flimsy box or plastic card, though.

I think the packaging is important if the item is promoted as a great gift idea (for like bridal parties and so on). But usually the packing doesn't bother me. If I'm very impressed with it, I will mention how it's packaged. For example, I have a ceramic dildo that was BEAUTIFULLY boxed!!!

I like to see the packaging. Preferably, I like to watch the person take the toy out of the packaging - that makes it really clear what my experience with the toy will be like if/when I purchase it.

I like to see and show the packaging, because for me it is a big deal. Can I store it in it? Does it have giant penises on it? Is it made of crappy plastic?

I keep my packaging, but I pack everything back in it how it came, so that I can take it out of the package like I'm first getting it and how battery insertion and all that. If it doesn't come in a clamshell or box, I usually just do away with it. I've actually saved my boxes for everything I've gotten.

I think that unless its unique, as in doubles as storage or so on, then its not usefull to me and a waste of time. watching that is. I dont do videos I sound like a child

I've noticed that a few things on here have different packages pictured than the ones that actually arrive. I think it's good to show it so you can see if you'll be able to use it for storage and such.

I like to see the packaging, but only very quickly. I don't really want to see a full unboxing, and I don't like when more than 1/4 of the video is about the packaging. I care significantly more about the toy & that is why I watch the reviews. Packaging is just something that is kind of nice to see.
