I rarely watch adult videos because when I see a video I'm hoping to see the functions of the toy and get to hear how loud it is. I check adult ones out every now and then if it's a toy I'm interested in or just a toy that is, I dunno...fascinating or different.

I prefer descriptive reviews.

Adult videos... I get some people enjoy them, but for me.. I skip over them.

I don't watch videos. If I did I would prefer descriptive to better understand the item.

I like descriptive ones because it shows me the vibration intensity and then maybe I can judge for myself the noise level.

Yes! This is the purpose of the adult videos! They are a commercial that is suppose to make you lust after that product if they are done right.

I remember not liking them when I first came, but watching this one changed my mind.

I like both, personally. But, to be brutally honest, I definitely don't like ALL videos in either category.

I like the ones where it's obvious the contributor got creative, did something out-of-the-ordinary, and really tried to make an "outside the box" & different video review. There are reviews in both categories (descriptive and adult) that don't fit that description, and I don't watch those (because I don't enjoy them).

And, for certain contributors, I will actually go to the trouble of watching and rating ALL their videos - even if I don't care about the product - because I just find them well done, entertaining and fun to watch.

To me, it's less about the category and more about the thought/work the reviewer put into the video.

I like video reviews because I can see the toy and I'm not totally opposed to the adult ones because they often give me ideas about how I can use the toy. However, I get really uncomfortable with some of these that are practically pornographic. Like, I don't need to see you making bedroom eyes at the toy and sticking in your mouth, etc. I also really don't get why there are some video reviews that are literally just boobs- no reason for it, just the toy and naked breasts. Unless I'm wrong, this site is predominantly women and it feels like these sorts of videos are just for men. Some of them don't even seem like reviews- just music videos of naked women holding the toys with little to no information. That's not a review. That's a porn clip.

I would say the descriptive reviews. I like the adult reviews, but it doesn't tell me about the nuts and bolts of the item being reviewed usually.

Agree. Depends what I am in the mood for. Obviously if I am learning about a product I want descriptive...but I like seeing the sexy EF'ers strut their stuff too.....I've yet to see one really combining both which would be even better. Sometimes, it is hard to sit through a 5 min review waiting for someone to make their point or get to the important bits.

Oh tell me about it! I'm always surprised to see so many video reviews that are soooo long. I guess the 3 minute limit is a suggestion rather than a rule, and I have a couple reviews myself that are 3 minutes 30 seconds... but that's on REALLY complicated toys that have tons of features or settings or parts.

I always check the time on a review, and if it's well over 3 minutes I generally don't watch. (Unless it's someone I know makes excellent video reviews.)

usually the adult reviews don't have too much information in them...I wish more people would combine the two into sexy videos that are also helpful!
