That happened with the Silk Large from Tantus when I ordered it. Despite looking carefully at the measurements, the videos, and the 1:1 pic, it still ended up looking big to me when I received it. I somehow thought it would only be a small step up from the Medium (wishful thinking, I guess). It probably would have been fine if the end had a slight taper instead of being completely rounded.

Yes! But I'm okay with it now. I hate how there are so many toys with a circumference larger than 5 and I'm not to that point yet so I can't get them. this may be pathetic but even 5 is pushing it for me right now

I have done this. I bought a toy that was 2 1/8" in diameter when the largest I had ever used was 1 3/4" I figured 3/8" of an inch couldn't make that much of a difference. It turns out it does make a big difference.

For some reason, I bought the Grrl Toyz silicone strap on dong. I'm not really sure what I was thinking when I did this, but there is no way I can use this toy at this time. It's just to big.
I guess what attracted me to this dildo was that it could stick to any smooth surface. Well, maybe in time, I can work it in. lol

I've had this happen with 2 toys. The girth description wasn't very accurate and the toys ending up being monstrously huge. Lol, they were actually bigger than my face. One of them I attempted to use and the other got given away without using. Now, I only buy toys if they have every single measurement listed out.
