They go too far into the uncanny valley for me and they all look way too bimbo-ish. They're realistic, but unrealistic at the same time. They all remind me of the type of girl who has had like 1000 plastic surgeries.. in her own backyard. Honestly I think its because most of the samples are COVERED in makeup and the dolls have a perfectly even skintone without makeup so when they use makeup to try and make her skintone look more real it just looks odd (and eventually washes off), then they look like a corpse. They dont have a truly 'natural' looking makeup setting.

Anyway, there's a Japanese company that makes these dolls but they are eerily um...I'll put it this way. The pictures they have showcasing the dolls all have very young-looking dolls in schoolgirl uniforms "asleep" on beds.

I personally don't have a use for one and I doubt my man would be interested, but I did see them making these on tv once - I think it was on Sexcetera on Playboy - and the detail and work they put in really is amazing. Real Dolls don't usually look very attractive to me. I really like Candy Dolls, made in Japan. And I don't even have an Asian preference. They look classier to me, have a pretty glow. Last time I looked, they made one with a Caucasian-looking face. Some might not like that quite a few look very young, but the Japanese do like "cute". Eek! It kinda creeps me out... I'm not really a fan of dolls

Also, it reminds me of the Roxxxy TrueCompanion (also available in male Rocky version), which is a robotic sex doll. I reeeally dislike this toy because I think some of the options are... ugh. Like the option to program Roxxxy to "talk" about sports. Because apparently real women can't do that

I'm sure some of you have heard of Guys and Dolls? It is a documentary about realistic love dolls. The people documented in the film ranged in my opinion from kind of understandable to just weird. Some of it is here: link

As a person with a few unusual tastes--an otaku (that is, a nerd obsessed with something, the most well-known variety in the West are anime otaku), and as a person who knows some people with social difficulties, I might have more sympathy for these doll lovers? Many might consider these types pathetic, but I don't think that's always the case. The saddest thing about it to me is that they might not be helping their social difficulties if they have them, and it might hurt their romantic relationships (this happened in Guys and Dolls).

I also heard about a documentary about men falling in love with dolls or sex dolls. And I mean fall in love with it like if they were married to it. And some of the men actually wanted to marry the doll. I think its funny but thats just me. But no I don't have one or want one. lol
