I've noticed that many toys that I would like to own (vibes & dildos) tend to have a lot of girth, anyone else feel that way? I can't get comfortable with anything more then 5" in circumference . It really sucks as I was looking through some possibilities tonight but clicked out of almost all of them because their girth.
Just curious, maybe I'm just a wimp. I don't know what is comfortable for the average woman.

I'm the opposite - I tend to go for 5"+ in circumference, if at all possible.

I'm teensy tiny and don't like more than an inch and a half diameter on my toys. There are so many I'd like to try but know they will be too big for me.

That doesn't make you a wimp, it makes you YOU! Don't feel bad about your personal preferences, whatever you like is fine, so long as it gets the job done!

I like my everyday toys to be about 1.5" in diameter, but I also like to use a 1.75" diameter toy from time to time. I don't go over 1.75" diameter though.

1.5" in diameter is about the most I can take, and that's if the toy in question is very soft. It's a bit of a bummer at times, but I have to remember that lots of people like big toys, while inversely there's some that suit me just fine that would be too small for others. It's a two-way street.

I pay attention to the circumference when buying. But looking over my favorite products list it seems most of mine are 1 1/4 or 1 3/8 diameter and a couple 1 1/2 but they get smaller down the shaft and I'm okay once I get past that or if it's a double ended toy I use the other smaller end but I don't like the entire toy to be that big.

It's just a bummer. I had a toy that was 5 1/2 circumference (not sure about diameter) and I tried to use it alone and with my guy but it just hurt no matter how much lubricant I used .

I seem to be a decent judge of circumferences that I like. I seem drawn to toys I know would fit me. However, I am like you, can't do more than 5 inches. I feel your pain! But everyone is different, what the average woman might like doesn't have to be what you like Your comfort is the only thing that matters!

I can't usually do more than 4.5", so I have you beat!

I only like thin toys, too. It does limit some things, but that's why they make and sell so many different sizes and shapes of toys.

I feel the same. I like my toys to be under 3.5" in diameter (specific right). That seems to be big enough to get me going and get me off while at the same time my husbands girth is significantly larger than the toy that when we go from toys to him, he feels wonderfully large inside of me. The mood seductive is wonderful. Have you tried it?

Haven't tried it but I like the line. I have the Mood Passionate and the Mood Powerful. I'll have to look at it.

I'm not sure of my fiance's actual size but I have to use lube with him and even then sometimes it hurts, like if we just go right into it or very little foreplay. I get used to it after a few minutes.

I don't know if it's weird but he is a bit larger than my largest toy but I'm able to have sex pain free, when it comes to a toy...I just can't do it. I think the intimacy involved with him helps things down there better.

Me too! The last bunch of toys I got have been too big for me. It stretches me out too much to the point it hurts.

Personally I don't like toys with a large circumference. But I have managed to find several vibes on Eden that are less than 5". Have you thought about using the comparison feature to measuring vibes against a tried and true toy you already own?

I like skinnier toys too. I can go a bit girthier with dual density silicone, but I still go for the narrower dildos. The fattest dildo I own is the Cush, which I won in a contest, and I haven't gotten the guts up to try it yet. I'm perfectly happy with O2 Mark and Goodfella, as well as the Pure Wand and my favourite glass dildo.

I'd say it's a process. When we started out, my wife preferred 1.25" to 1.5" max. As we matured in both age and skill, the minimum is 1.5", the preference is 1.75" and the occasional max is 2" - that's 6.3" circumference for those who prefer that measurement.

Materials, texture, g-spot curve all make a big difference. My wife cannot handle the 2" end of the Njoy Eleven - but can handle the 2" Vixskin Outlaw. For metal or glass 1.5" with some texture is best. For Vixskin 1.75" with a nice g-spot curve work best.

Arousal also makes a huge difference. Many women who use larger toys start off smaller to get warmed up - but I see the biggest difference in depth of penetration. Early in a session just a few inches inside is best - but as she gets aroused, she'll press back at me wanting more. By the time orgasm comes around she will have the full 6.5" to 7.5" inside. It's great fun to watch - it lets me know I'm doing a good job!
