Seems there are only so many ways to form a plastic penis, finger or tongue, so we have leaves, bowling pins and now UFO's!!! Are we entering a phase where toy makes are introducing toys with odd shapes NOT due to being more "ergonomic" and better shaped, but just to be DIFFERENT and UNIQUE????

Seems to me like it's both. The odd shapes can provide unique stimulation, while at the same time being eye-catching and interesting.

I would say it is all of the above. To be unique, ergonomic, stimulate differently and just to be different--as long as they work!!

The company that you're referring to in regards to the UFO shape- Fun Factory- have always come up with interesting and non threatening designs. Because of their shapes, I actually decided that I wanted to use sex toys. I've never been a fan of realistic penises, so I was happy knowing that I had different options.

I know a lot of companies already specialize in unique shapes, but other companies are delving into it because they realize there's quite a market for these types of toys.

I agree with Ms Spice.

I have never been into realistic looking toys or flesh coloured ones either. Fun Factory for me, was the company that made me enjoy masturbation and stop being ashamed of wanting to play because they sold the concept of fun over everything else.

Now with the UFO... I am a scifi nut. I mean the only thing better than having a UFO getting me off, is a TARDIS.

I am with Ms. Spice and womanchina. I HATE realistic toys. If they do their research adn find a fun toy that hits all the right spots, then I am totally in!

There have been some toys that make me wonder if they company spent all their time focusing on how cool it would look and not enough on how it would feel. That said, I agree with others who don't like realistic looking toys. I have them, but I prefer fun shapes and colors. The fun shapes have to work though.

I'm still remembering the one I saw that looked like Buddah. I also saw a toy made to look like Jesus and another the Virgin Mary.

It seems like they'll make toys of anything if it will get attention.

I think it's pretty progressive to move away from 100% phallic toys, actually. Cocks aren't the ONLY thing that can please, after all.

I'm not a huge fan of realistic toys and even most phallic toys, so I'm a big fan of the move away from vibrating silicone penises.

If a company can come up with a unique shape that actually fits the body well for maximum pleasure, then I'm all for it. I love unique, but it has to be able to do its job. So far, each unique one I have purchased has worked for me.


I'm so with BlackxxxRose! I wish EF would sell the female versions of the Freaks. I'd snap them up asap.
