Sorry if this isn't the correct place to post this.

My fiance bought me this link back in 2014 and I submited a ticket and they told me it was past the return date but I didn't want to return it I simply wanted another charger cord because mine has melted (I don't even know how). They offered me a 5$ gift card and that'd be nice if I could find somewhere to purchase a replacement cord but I can't and I simply refuse to pay another 40$. Help please

You poor thing. Often one can find replacement stuff on amazon by doing a lot of searches. That one looks like a dual charger from the same cord. Perhaps if u can search for a cord with the same insertable part u might have a chance. You would have to charge each one seperately unless found the same one.

I wish you the best of luck. Might be time for fiance/SO to get you another gift. Worse comes to worse, if u did get another one can have a back up ready to go when first one gets tired.

I've looked on amazon. I don't really know what type of charger comes with it, it's like a headphone jack but different.

I don't understand why they can't just supply replacement cords. I guess they are greedy and want me to buy something new when the charger goes..

Try bringing it in to a Fry's Electronics store or similar place. I found replacements for various electronic stuff there. Sometimes well priced sometimes not. I don't think it is a greed thing. The stuff comes pre packaged from factories. Large companies that make and sell direct have replacement cords. Like Fun Factory. However all their electronic toys are very expensive. And their cords are very durable.

Which end burnt? Pin or plug to wall. It's possible something very small touch the metal part and cooked ever so slowly.

A lot of companies don't sell replacement cords. If the manufacturer doesn't supply them to the individual companies, then they don't have any to send out. Sometimes the cords are also costly enough to make that it's not worth supplying to or selling them separately. It has nothing to do with greed.
