Are you talking about Waterfall's video? In the later part of the video she holds it up to light to show that it's actually blue.

Yeah the colbolt blue glass Can look black in certain lighting. But This is a beautiful toy either way. I actually haven't seen any black glass toys. I think they would be pretty as long as they are not a solid color.
