How was taking this through the airport? Did security ask any questions? Kind of weird question I know but we are planning on going to Rome for our honeymoon & Im worried about that!

I would rather suggest to put it in your check in luggage to avoid any hassles. That way , you are sure to pass worry free. Good luck and have fun upon arrival to your destination !

Carry-on - better to explain "We're on honeymoon!" than make out a stolen property report for sex toys because of sticky fingers in baggage-handling. Believe it or not, security is accepting of honeymooner stuff. Besides, the TSA approved toys for carry-on last year.

When I went on vacation in March, I packed a wide variety of sex toys in my checked luggage. No one batted an eye.

I did also have a ball gag and a vibrator in my carry on. TSA didn't say a word about it.

Oooh I just flew to Italy last month! Well I'm still here, haha. I brought over all my toys because I'm moving here. Trust me, one of my bags was almost completely filled with toys/lingerie/etc.

I would definitely recommend just putting the "carry-on bag" in your checked luggage. I had a security guy go through my carry on and I was SO glad I didn't put any toys in there. At least you save yourself the embarrassment if it goes in checked baggage. I'm sure TSA has seen stranger things.

Check them if you dont want them to find them but be sure to take the batteries out, also I'd put them in clear plastic bags in case they check your luggage so they can easily see what it is without touching it because I wouldn't want them handling my toys after grubbing through everyone else's bags.

I'd put them in your checked luggage. Aren't there restrictions on the amount of liquids you can carry with you to the plane??

You will have to separate the liquids and put them in a plastic bag if you don't check it. Other than that it should be fine.

I generally put them in checked baggage and always, always, always take the batteries out of vibrators so that they don't go off in transit! However, if you can't check a bag, just put them in a plastic bag, pack them amongst your clothes, and walk through confidently. Physical bag checks are pretty rare (I fly all the time and have never been checked), and you can certainly reduce your risk of being checked by being totally rule-compliant in other ways.

My friend works for TSA and she comes home with some of the strangest dildo/vibe stories I have ever heard. Save yourself the trouble of worrying and just put it in your checked baggage. Much safer and a lot less of a chance of being embarrassed.

I live in China and no one has batted an eye when I've carried oodles of sex toys in my carry on or checked baggage.
