Sapphic Desire by Erocktavision - review by Shayne

"Sapphic Desire" by Dana Dane Productions is directed by a woman and should be a lot better than it was, in this reviewer's opinion. Also, with a run time of just 66 minutes, some of the best scenes seem rushed.

Erocktavision movies are generally better than your average lesbian porn that is made for men. I previously viewed an Erocktavision movie, "The Lesbian Couple" and I loved it, but this one fell a bit short for me. For one, the scenes did not seem as 'authentic', or at least as authentic as you can get in porn. This may have been due to the short run-time of the whole movie. For me, there was little chemistry between the actresses, where in the other one, they seemed like a real lesbian couple. Several of the scenes in "Sapphic Desire" were as you would see in 'straight' lesbian porn- an entire scene of sucking a strap-on is definitely a turn off for me, as are the threesomes in this video. I can't exactly place WHY I didn't like them, but I just didn't, and I normally don't have a problem with threesomes.

The best part, however, was the beginning. There actually was some kind of chemistry between them, they looked in each other's eyes or something, it wasn't just random sex. I would have enjoyed this video much more if they kept the focus on the couples they began with and switched back and forth rather than the 'sex boat' idea they used.

This video may be great for some, but as a lesbian looking for good lesbian porn, this may not be for you. It's not great, but it's not terrible, either- I'm just kinda picky.

Note: At this point I have not looked at the special features, but when I do, I'll edit this.

I haven't watched this again, to be honest. Maybe I'll break it out again, who knows. I have volume 1, The Lesbian Couple, which is actually really amazing. But this one was just lacking something for me.
