Hugs 'n kisses coupon book - gags by Pipedream - review by Kayla

This is a cute little coupon book that I actually enjoyed flipping through. I bought it since the price was less than that of my regular coffee. Some cute romance ideas for less than coffee? I could deal with that.

The coupons are seven inches long and about three inches tall. Each little coupon has those dotted lines that allow you to tear it out very easily. They're each also made out of shiny, gloss paper - it's not just regular paper. I had no problems tearing out any of the coupons, and they actually came out a little easier than expected. None have ended up coming out with me intentionally trying, though.

Each coupon is either pink-colored or blue-colored. They don't appear to be representative of male or female coupons - it looks like they just wanted to mix up the colors. Each one says "Coupon #__" at the top, "Valid Anytime" at the bottom, and "Satisfaction Guarenteed" with a little heart on the lower right-hand corner. Each little coupon is also adorably decorated with smileys, hearts, or something that goes with each coupon's theme - they aren't just text on a white background.

The back of each coupon just mirrors the front cover of the book but in shades of blue. All of the backs of the coupons appear to be the same.

There are 27 (why 27? Such a random number) different coupons in this book. Seven of the coupons actually repeat twice in this book, so you actually only end up with twenty different unique coupons. They include things like "Get out of the Doghouse for Free Card", "A Quiet Walk Together", "Breakfast in Bed", "A Romantic Night in: Naughty or Nice", "2 Hours of your Undivided Attention", "A Video Rental: I pick it out, You Pick it Up", and others. (If I keep going, I'll end up naming them all!)

All-in-all, the coupons that are included in this book really aren't all that unique. It's not a bad product, but these are all things you could think to do for yourself with your partner. None of them strike me as "Oh! That's a cool idea!".

However, if you're looking for something to spice up the things you already do, this is a cute idea. It allows you to give your partners favors for when they want them. The coupons are high-quality and don't look trashy at all. My favorite one is "Grant Me This Wish" with a line to fill-in-the-blank. You could have tons of fun putting a fantasy in there.

I also want to mention that none of these coupons are sexual. They all are romantic in nature. A couple semi-assume that you're living together. (Doing chores. If you aren't, you could always come to the other's place and do them.)

I'd have to recommend these coupons to anyone that is looking for something cute to spice up their romantic life. If you're buying something from Eden Fantasys anyway, just add this onto your order. For the price, it's perfect for a cute "pick me up" for you and your partner.
