A bit too big for comfort...

The Aneros Progasm Ice is a well made interesting looking toy. It has a nice smooth finish with smooth edges and an enticing shape suited to stimulating your prostate. However it is a big toy and may be to big for some beginner to middle of the road toy fantatics. You may also find that the toy does take some time to master as all P-Spot toys do. Its a great to but not for me.

After trying the Aneros SGX we decided that since we didnt think the SGX was stimulating enough maybe we should step up our game and get ahold of something slightly more advanced. From what we saw on the reviews the next best toy that we saw that looked interesting was the Aneros Progasm Ice. We liked it because it looked as if it would be able to stimulate the prostate better due to its larger ridged end and plus that we just simply liked the fact that the toy was now being offered in clear plastic. We may have jumped the gun on this one because the end all and be all is that we found it to actually end up being uncomfortable and causing discomfort for several days after using the toy.

The Progasm Ice is a fantastic looking toy and I am sure for some more experienced P-Spot people its probably a fantastic feeling toy. Now Im not saying it felt bad but I am saying that it left me feeling uncomfortable for several days after using it.

The Progasm Ice is made of Plastic which is an 8 in material saftey according to Eden Fantasys. This material is a smooth Food-grade Hypo-allergenic material that is very easy to clean and maintain. It can be washed by using antibacterial soap and warm water or for a more thorough clean it can be wiped down with an Isoprophyl alcohol.

The toy is clear in color and has a total length of 5 1/2 inches. It has a total of 4 1/2 inches with a circumference of 4 inches with a diameter of 1 1/4 inches. The progasm is also a pretty light toy at 0.75 pounds. The Progasm Ice is shaped in a way to essentially cradle your P-Spot and with gentle movement it is designed to maximize the stimulation you recieve by utilizing the curve in the center of the toy.

The Anaros Progasm Ice is presented very well. It is presented in the exact same way the Aneros SGX is presented. The toy is packaged in an oaktag type of material sheithing. The oaktag maerial is red and black with pictures of the Aneros Progasm Ice. The oaktag box is red and black with a design made of words on the front and sides. The top of the box says Aneros in red letters with a black background. The oaktag box has a removable sheath that has a picture of the product and gives you information about the product in the box. The sheath also lets you know about the experience level of the toy. The sides of the sheath say Aneros and the back of the sheath has a few paragraphs about the toy. Once the internal box has been removed from the oaktag packaging you will find that the box on the inside is made of a hard cardboard. The box is black and red in color. The front back and sides are red and the bottom and top are black. The front of the box is opened by two overlapping flaps that are held together by a magnet. The toy is held in the box by a black plastic insert inside of the box. The insert has a space that is designed for the toy to clip into. When the toy is in its holder it doesent move or make noise when the box is moved. This actually gives the toy and its packaging the advantage of the toy being discrete while being inside of its box. The best part of the packaging is that it is made so well that it can be reused over and over again.

The biggest thing to remember as always using a toy like this is to USE LOTS OF LUBE. You can never use too much lube with a toy like this. Its better to use too much lube then to not use enough and get hurt. Also please also keep in mind when using this toy that if you ever start to feel pain when inserting the toy or during use STOP RIGHT AWAY!!! The nice thing about this material is you can pretty much use any type of lube you want. Since plastic isnt affected by most materials using oil, water or silicone based lubes are fine. We prefer to use a water based lube like Maximus or Liquid silk.
Experience
Honestly I have only used this toy several times. The reason being it really wasnt that comfortable to use for me. Now that may have something to do with the fact that I am not overly big into using toys like this and my body always seems to tense up when using toys like this. I am trying to be accepting of the toy but until that point I am probably going to stick with my smaller Aneros SGX when we start playing with toys like this.

Now I am not saying this is a bad toy. I am saying it wasnt right for me right now. I may end up really enjoying this toy down the road but as of right now its too much too soon.

These toys tend to have a learning curve that goes along with them and you tend to find out that with practice comes that perfect orgasm you are seeking. I rarely have time to play with a toy like this and if its a toy that may end up making me sore I am probably not going to choose this one when we choose to play with toys of this kind.

I didnt really hurt after playing with this one, but it did make me sore to the point where I wanted nothing to do with sex for a day or so. If a toy makes you feel like that you might just want to let that toy sit the next session out for something you know wont make you sore.
Follow-up commentary
Hi It-Guy here for a follow up on the progasm ice! Well, this one has pretty much bitten the dust as far as I am concerned. It is not a comfortable toy to play with, it leaves you with discomfort and honestly this toy really isn't my thing. I find that it takes too much time to play with properly and it gets very messy with the amount of lube you need to properly enjoy the toy. More work than play and when thats the case in our toybox, that toy gets retired for a toy thats worth the space. I dont like it at all anymore.

Sorry to hear it didn't work out for you. SGX is the smallest Aneros and Progasm is the largest, that's a pretty big jump. Did you try starting with the SGX before inserting the Progasm? These kind of toys definitely take time and I can understand frustration with having to dedicate that much time to preparation.
