This toy is, for the most part, tiny. At just three and a half inches long and just under three inches in circumference (this makes it sound much bigger than it is, actually -- at its widest, it's smaller than my thumb), the Little Flirt is appropriately named. The size, and the super soft material, makes this a great toy for beginning anal players, for lapsed anal lovers and, I think, for anyone who's ever been hurt while trying anal and is now nervous about it.

The unassuming appearance is a benefit, because it means you're less likely to get uptight or nervous, which can make your sphincter muscles clench up. In my opinion, so much of anal sex is about relaxing, and a toy this small and soft isn't likely to set off any fear triggers.

Along those lines, the base is big and square (about two inches long), which should alleviate any concerns about it getting lost inside. It also provides an easy way to hold the plug in, either with a hand or when you're sitting down (as small as it is, it's likely to slip out if you're relaxed, so you'll likely need to find a way to keep it inside, even in doggy style.). While I was concerned about the square shape fitting between my butt cheeks (I've got a bubble butt, so that kind of thing is always a concern for me), it has the right curves to it that it can settle there without rubbing or irritating, even during vaginal sex.

I love silicone toys -- they have the benefit of being both soft and pliable while still holding their shape. It's also very smooth -- coat it with a little water-based lube, and the toy slides right in.

It's obviously really important to clean anal toys well, and this is another benefit of silicone. Just wash it with soap and water (I use, oddly enough, Oil of Olay Gentle Foaming Face Wash to cleanse all of my toys), or you can boil it. It's too small to really use a condom on effectively, I found, so my suggestion would be to go with the clean-between-uses route.

I commented on the size already -- very good for beginners or those who have concerns, probably not filling enough for those who are used to regular anal play. It might also work nicely as a warm-up toy, allowing the sphincter to open up and relax before you switch to a larger toy or a cock.

The shape is nice -- small, rounded tip that gradually widens just enough. Personally, I prefer bigger and longer, but that's just my own taste. In addition, the base is flat, enabling solo play if desired. The 2" long base is rectangular, with semi-curved sides to fit easily against the body for wearing during intercourse, masturbation or everyday activities.

One especially nice thing about this toy is that its small size and discrete shape makes it easy to pack. I travel a lot and I'm always trying to decide which toys to take and which to leave: the little flirt is lightweight, compact and easy to throw into my suitcase.

The toy goes in easy and comes out easy. As I mentioned, this is fantastic for beginners. If you get nervous about having the plug in, out it comes. There are no bumps or bubbles to get snagged on along the way. However, there isn't that much to feel either, once you start relaxing and really getting into it. After the initial sensation of entry, I found myself longing for more, more more.

One great way to use this toy is during vaginal sex. I love the feeling of having this plug in while having sex. It adds something wonderful to the experience, it gets held in by the other person's body, and the thrusts make it seem larger than it is. Many anal sex plugs are just too big for me to wear while also having sex; this one is just right for that purpose.

Also, for a little extra stimulation, you can tap on the base or hold it and give it a wiggle, which will jiggle it inside and touch all those little hot buttons. All of which can give a little extra touch to masturbation, mutual or solo.

Thanks to the silicone and the smooth shape, this toy is incredibly easy to care for. I use a simple water-based lube with it, and I wash it with hot soap and water after every use (and, truly, I wash it again before each use as well, mainly because the material is a bit sticky and tends to attract dust and dog hair -- not too attractive). I let it air dry, and then just throw it in my toy box. It's unbreakable and nearly indestructible (it did rub up against another butt plug, and now there's a black mark on it from the other toy, which won't come off, but that's merely an aesthetic issue, and tends to happen when you have so many toys rubbing against each other in the same box.)
