Anal beads without anything for you to grip onto.

I bought these recently looking for something to start me off with anal toy play. These are a great size to start off with, even the largest bead isn't that large. They are kind of soft to the touch but firm also. Which is great, because too soft is not a good thing when it comes to anal play. If you are like me you like to use a lube when you do anything anally. You have to be very careful when using lubes with this toy. There really isn't much to grip onto besides the last bead. If you have lube on you hand and you are trying to hold onto this toy it makes play very hard. I personally think it would have been better if it would have had a small ring or something to hold on to...anything really.
My favorite quality and/or feature of this toy is that the beads are small, but not to small. It really is a great toy in that aspect for beginners. The Purple Anal Jelly Beads do and do not work well for the intended use. DO: They are small enough for beginners. DON'T: There is no handle, no ring, nothing to grip and hold onto besides the last bead which makes anal play a little harder. As far as other ways to use it I think I would only use this toy for the purpose it was intended.
It looks very nice, it is sorta small. The Purple anal jelly beads are soft yet firm. They feel absolutely wonderful inside of you. This really is an amazing little toy, but once again like I have already stated the fact that it doesn't have a handle or ring to hold makes the play with it difficult. It is very easy to clean. One of the easiest to clean toys that I have ever owned. I used this toy a few times then put it away and never touched it again. It is currently stashed in the back of my toy drawer. I never plan on using this toy again. It's to difficult to use, I am currently looking for some beads to replace these.

I never use this toy anymore. The fact that it has no grip or ring, absolutely nothing for me to hold to, makes me unable to enjoy this product. I have found that I stashed it away at the back of my toy drawer and haven't even reached for it or considered playing with it in several months.

Note that they don't look like a great choice, so do remain open to other toys even if you don't like these. Look for a nice silicone bead stick or probe.

How far is too far for insertion before it becomes uncomfortable? I've actually NEVER used anal beads and have always wanted to!

Every person is different. Go slow and insert one at a time. Use lots of lube as you go! Enjoy I was very skeptical about them at first but now I'm in love with anal beads and have actually opened up more to the idea of all anal play!

Poorly constructed anal beads can hurt because of ridges or the rope. A better choice is one of the silicone bead stick toys, with the added benefit that they're easier to insert and more hygenic.
Flexi-Felix is well regarded, as are the Tantus Ripple toys.

How did you clean it? What are you storing it in?
Crazy that there is not a handle, that is scary.
I cleaned it with warm water and a mild soap. I'm storing it in a plastic toy storage container that I bought from a local adult book store. And you are completely right it is scary that there isn't a handle. When I am doing anal play I want something to hold onto...or a large base...something for safety. this has nothing.
You say the beads are small, but how small is that exactly? And yeah, wow. Not having anything to grab onto is scary.
I love these beads. I wouldn't say they were small either, for anal beads I think they are a decent size.
Your review is a nice start. I'd go with the extended template so that you have prompts to make sure you include everything.
I think you should try the mentor program. Its amazing!
The specs on the toy page say that the diameter is 1" and it is hard to tell from the pictures if there is variation in bead size, but you refer to a "largest bead". Do they start small and work up to the 1" diameter? Not having a ring at the end to ensure they don't get lost is not good. Material isn't great for anal play either. Keep working on the reviews.

There is one bead that is larger than the others. They aren't 1 inch in diameter more like 3/4 of an inch or so.
