This toy could be used for vaginal or anal penetration. Just remember to never play from anal to vaginal because this toy is unable to be sterilized in between uses. Anyone could use this toy from the advanced to the beginner. I myself am very new to anal play, and with just a little lube, my husband was able to insert the beads with no discomfort.

Booty Beads are made of phthalates-free, latex-free plastic. The coating feels silky smooth, so I suggest using some lube to cut down on the friction. I did not really get a smell other than the plastic from the packaging, but that was gone after the first wash.

I loved the design feature of the pearls in between each black ball. I was able to feel the different sizes with each pull and push. The length of the toy is 10 1/4" but has only a 7 1/4" insertable length. The beads themselves are not very large; they are only 1/2". This toy is slim and would be able to be hidden very easily for travel.

The Booty Beads have three levels of vibration. I loved the push-button feature on the handle; it made changing the settings a breeze. This toy was pretty noisy for how small it is, but the noise level went down significantly once inserted. This toy is labeled as waterproof, but I personally did not test this feature for very long due to it only being submerged in water while cleaning.

Now for the fun part. This toy was a pure pain to clean for the first and second washings, and I believe it will not get any easier. The toy has a locking mechanism that allows for the beads to be separated. You twist and pull, and this process unlocks and extends the wire. This extension gives you a little play room to move the beads up and down, so you are able to clean in between each one. Now, I am somewhat of a clean freak, which made cleaning this a very time-consuming process. I used antibacterial soap and water to clean between each and every bead to make sure it was clean. I also found it hard to get the toy completely dry, so I laid it out overnight to dry up any extra water hiding in the spaces between each bead.

This toy came in plastic packaging with no instruction booklet. The card that goes around the toy had simple instructions on how to clean and how to use the locking system I spoke of above. What I really loved about this toy is that it not only came with batteries ready to go, but it also had two extra sets. I really love the fact that I do not have to run out and find more button batteries.

I was pretty impressed by the power behind this toy. This was my first vibrating anal toy with vibrations located in areas other than just the handle portion of the toy. That, to me, was the most important feature. The vibrations are centered at the head, so you feel the vibrations deep within during insertion.
