Gold Laced G is a Pyrex glass dildo that is more along the lines of a basic beginner’s dildo with some added texture. It is rather thin but lengthy making it great for those not looking for a huge stuffing of glass. The base allows for anal play safely without it slipping inside and actually works great in this sense as a thin warm up toy.

It can be used by males or females alike, for anal or vaginal use to your heart’s content. If sharing with a partner I'd use a condom is going between anal and vaginal, or between each person. Because it is made of glass it is waterproof and can be used in wet environments and handle temperature play. I would take caution as a beginner when first using this; take it slow and only thrust when you know you are ready. The texture on this toy may be too much for some.

The dildo is made of super hard Pyrex glass that is less dense than standard glass. If it breaks it won't shatter into tiny pieces but rather be in larger pieces and/or chunks. It is hard and cold to the touch; some warm water might be a good idea so it's not so freezing when you insert it at first. Any lubes can be used with this material and it is super easy to maintain and clean. Before first use you should inspect the dildo thoroughly for any imperfections that may cause any internal bleeding. You wouldn't want a sharp edge to cut inside of you.

Because of it being so hard, there is no flexibility to this toy, what you see is what you get plain and simple. I would avoid hard thrusting unless you are experienced enough to know you can handle it. There is no odor to the glass or taste; it is also non-porous and hypo-allergenic making it safe for almost anyone. The ridges/veins on the shaft are somewhat pronounced so even though it is a thin dildo, you will feel the ridges.

My Gold Laced G is on par with the product page specifications and is accurate in size. It is 6 3/4" in length and has around a 6" insertable length before you reach the base. With the ridges included it is only 1" wide which is very small for most people including myself. It is also fairly light in weight.

The design is very attractive and does not quite have a bright gold coloring as in the product page picture (studio lighting and quality photo). But the gold is definitely noticeable in most lighting conditions. The design overall is nice with the curved shaft and the head with the split at the tip. It doesn't look realistic to a penis, but feels pretty good non-the-less.

The curve in the shaft might be enough for a lot of women to get their g-spot. For me as a male it didn't do much for the prostate but works great as a warm-up toy. It is definitely not discreet looking but is small enough for traveling with. Keeping it inside the pouch it comes with is adequate protection; I’d recommend much thicker padding though.

The performance of this dildo for me is fairly limited. It works perfectly as a slow inserting dildo for warm-up use anally. I tried thrusting a few times but the texture I find is too much for me in thrusting. I can insert this deeply though because of the curve and how thin it is. Other than its size and texture during thrusting I have no performance complaints on this.

Cleaning is a breeze but be careful in any case not to heat or cool the glass rapidly. You can boil, bleach or dish wash this dildo, or use toy cleaner and wipes or soap and water. Whichever way you please and you can probably do it. Just be careful using the dishwasher or boiling as the glass will get extremely hot and stay hot for a long period. Allow to air dry and cool completely before storing. You can store it exposed with other toys or in the included pouch or your own box/pouch/zip lock. Any lube is safe with this toy.

It came wrapped in bubble wrap and stored inside the included red pouch with is a thin fabric with a pull rope tie at the top. The pouch does not stay closed well and feels cheap and thin. I'd recommend storing in your own pouch or even wrapped in a shirt or cotton towel.
