A Prostate massager can be used alone or mixed with other stimulation to achieve orgasmic bliss. The LUX LX-3 is a vibrating product that can be used as a probe or a plug type toy to stimulate the prostate; it could also be used as a rabbit (Clitoral and G-spot stim) type vibe for female bodied folks.

The size and shape of the LX-3 is perfect for newcomers to P-spot play, or those more advanced users as well. Use is pretty straight forward; apply lube to the toy and orifice of choice, insert slowly and select the vibe setting. This massager slides in effortlessly, thanks to a wonderfully soft and supple matte finished silicone that works well with the water or oil based lube of your choice. The perineum simulator coupled with the back wing keeps the LX-3 from getting sucked in to the anus/rectum.



The relatively small size and the locking feature make this one great for travel. It can fit in a coat pocket or hand bag: just make sure you charge it before going out. The storage box is quite large, so for travel you may wish to use a plastic bag or toy pouch.

Silicone is the tops when it comes to body safe, worry free materials. It should be no surprise that the LUX LX-3 would be made out of this wonderful non porous, latex free, and hypoallergenic material. You will find a wonderful matte finish to the black silicone with only a bit of drag; this just helps to hold onto the lube.

The LX-3 has a firm (plastic?) skeleton with a soft and supple coating of silicone. The insertable portion has only the slightest give, but the perineum portion has lots of flex, which makes it comfortable when sitting on it.

You will find no smell or taste to the LX-3; due to the non-porous nature of silicone, it will not hold on to smells either. Well, with a name like LUX, did you expect anything else?

BMS Enterprises thought fit to use a tried and true design for the LX-3, basically an acute L shape with a small wing off the back. The insertable 3" leg has a tapered tip for easy insertion, and the bulbous section measures a beginner friendly 1 1/4" diameter. The perineum leg is 2" long with a diameter of 1". Off the back side the base extends an inch.

The control button is found on the bottom of the L, right below the insertable section. It is buried beneath the silicone, but a small bulge can be felt with your finger. On the back side of the insertable section, just above the back wing, you will find the charge port.

Anyone with any knowledge of sex toys will probably know what the LX-3 is for, so it is not the most discreet.

A wonderfully thumpy vibe has been used in the LX-3: it only has straight vibrations, but they are infinitely adjustable. To use the vibes you quickly press the on/off button once to turn it on: when on, a red LED light can be seen under the silicone. To increase the intensity you press and hold the button. As you hold down on the button the vibe strength increases; when you get them where you want them you simply let go. To turn it off you only have to quickly press the button.

The vibe is pretty quiet, even at its highest setting. A person in the same room will have a hard time hearing it, for sure a blanket or any background noise such as a radio will keep it from being heard.

The vibe is placed in the perineum portion of the toy, so most of the vibes are felt here. You do get some vibes in the insertable section, but they are not felt as well. This is my only complaint with the LX-3, although for the female bodied folks interested in the LX-3 this may be a good thing.

The LX-3 is powered by a rechargeable Lithium Ion (Li-Ion) battery for long life and great power. Li-Ion batteries require some special care that differs from the Ni-cad batteries of old. One of the main things to remember is that this battery should not be drained before charging. Li-Ion batteries do not have memory so draining them is not advised, for the best life they should be charged after each use or when a loss in power is noticed.

The charge port is a small hole found on the back side of the L, this is also where the only texture can be found. No worries though, it cannot be felt during use.




Once you insert the charge jack into the toy and plug it in a red light can be seen above the charge port to let you know it is charging. When the light goes out the battery is fully charged. A full charge will give you around an hour of use.



One last function of the LX-3 is the locking option for storage or travel. By pressing the on/off button three times quickly you will lock the control. The red light will come on momentarily and then turn off letting you know it is locked. Unlocking is achieved the same way. This insures that the vibe will be ready for use when wanted.

Care of silicone is by far the easiest. For cleaning you can use any mild or antibacterial soap and warm water; toy cleaners work well too. If you plan on sharing your LX-3 you can use a 10% bleach solution for sanitizing. You cannot boil it though: the high heat will surely damage the electronics.

It is waterproof, so you need not worry about submerging it. This also makes it suitable for shower/tub use.

Only water and oil based lubes should be used with the LX-3, although some silicone based lubes could be used, too. A spot test on the base of the toy is recommended if you are wanting to use silicone lubes.

With a name like LUX, surely you will be expecting a luxurious storage box, right? Well, the folks at BMS Enterprises did not disappoint here. Your LX-3 (And all the LUX toys) comes to you in a hard sided box with a flip open lid. It is wrapped in plastic and also has a paper seal on the lid.



The top of the box has the LUX name/logo, and the bottom of the box has info on the toy as well as information about the LUX line.

Inside you will find an instruction booklet written in five languages, a piece of paper showing all the products in the LUX lineup, the massager, and the charger. The toy and charger are set in a stiff foam that has cutouts for them.



The box is on the large side at 9" long X 5 1/4" deep and 2 5/8" tall. It may not be the best for some, so a plastic bag or toy pouch may be used as well. Just be sure not to store your toy with unlike materials to avoid possible damage.

As stated before, my only complaint is that the vibe has been placed in the base of the LX-3. While I do like a vibe on my perineum, it would have made this massager a whole lot better if it would have been placed in the insertable section. To make matters worse, when I felt the rumbly vibes that come from the LX-3, I was sorely disappointed that they are placed where they are. I even went so far as to insert the perineum section to try to feel those wonderful vibes on my prostate. Sadly, that section is not nearly long enough: I could feel them better on my P-spot but not in a direct fashion.

I would have liked to see the vibe placed in the insertable section or a second vibe added. If that were the case this would be a solid five star toy; as it is, I am forced to knock one star.

The vibe placement aside, this is a wonderful prostate massager. The angle of the insertable section finds its way right to the prostate, and the perineum section finds its mark as well. I was a little worried about the small back wing slipping in my hungry ass, but I never once felt it trying to sneak past my anus.

I had no problems with it sliding out during use and found it pretty comfortable for long term wear around the house, even when sitting on a hard surface such as a wood chair. The battery lasted for three uses before I thought to charge it, so life is right on as far as the claims go.

Overall this is a great, well constructed massager. I think anyone that has used fingers or small toys will be able to use it anally with just a little bit of warm up. Also, the vibes and shape/design may work well for G-spot/clitoral stimulation as well.
