The Purple anal beads were my first anal toy and they have served their purpose very well for a great start into the world of anal play. Having Two different sizes of beads adds slight variation in the sensation they provide which is nice when I was a beginner using the toy but are not very noticeable when I became more experienced. This toy is made and held to a high quality standard. It has no rough edges, bumps, or seams in the construction that take away from the pleasure it brings.
The beads are made of jelly but are very firm, stay in place well, and are easy to clean off. The firmness adds control for yourself or a partner to use without being so hard they hurt. Jelly is not a safe material to share between partners without cleaning it thoroughly first because of its porosity. The toy can be easily cleaned with a mild soap and water solution, a toy cleaning product, or used with condoms to keep it clean and safe between partners.
What it lacks in the size of the beads it makes up for with the 10" insertable Length. Having my partner use this toy on me anally while masturbating brings on a great orgasm every time. The push in feels great, but slow pull out brings on almost an immediate orgasm. These beads are a perfect addition to the bedroom and are small enough to be used during intercourse without making things to tight or uncomfortable for either partner.

How far is too far for insertion before it becomes uncomfortable? I've actually NEVER used anal beads and have always wanted to!

Every person is different. Go slow and insert one at a time. Use lots of lube as you go! Enjoy I was very skeptical about them at first but now I'm in love with anal beads and have actually opened up more to the idea of all anal play!

Poorly constructed anal beads can hurt because of ridges or the rope. A better choice is one of the silicone bead stick toys, with the added benefit that they're easier to insert and more hygenic.
Flexi-Felix is well regarded, as are the Tantus Ripple toys.

So this toy provides two different bead sizes on the same string? I couldn't tell except for one of the pictures shows it in a straight line.
