Oh, Luna. I wanted to love it – really, I did. It’s absolutely beautiful – its curvaceous form holds so much promise. Why, just looking at it turns me on! Everything about the Luna looks like pleasure; from its dainty and frilled base, to the gentle curve at its midsection, to the bulge that promises to rub me “just so.”

But with the Luna, it’s all just a tease – a whole lot of empty promises of fulfillment and delight.

Allow me to explain. The Luna is different. It is what other butt plugs are not. It IS a firm shape, designed with the contours of the human body in mind. It IS designed to stay put, even during the muscular contractions of orgasm. As such, the Luna is exactly that – thin, misshapen, and unwieldy; but holy-moley does it stay in for the long run.

The Luna is not really all that thick – if it were straightened out, it would only be a butt plug that was simply “beyond beginner.” As such, when the Luna is inserted it doesn’t feel like much – no pleasant full feeling. How lame. Beyond lame, in fact, as the Luna kind of pokes me in a not-so-awesome way.

The Luna is very, very firm, and its shape just does not match mine – and for some reason, it only likes to sit in me one way (it naturally rotates and settles in one position). The Luna’s firmness is an issue during insertion as well – it takes a well prepared asshole to take the plug, despite its small girth.

And yet, I cannot help but think the Luna is actually awesome – that somehow, with practice, it will become my new best friend and reigning king among butt plugs. I love the fact that it stays put during orgasm – once in, the Luna stays put till you decide to pull it out. That’s quite the feature, and to be honest, it almost makes up for everything else. Almost.
