LX3 was designed as a prostate massager/stimulator. Even though this was made for men, I see no problem with a woman using this as an anal or vaginal toy. I absolutely love the shape of the LX3. I have been waiting for the Romp to come back into stock, and then this toy showed up. It has the same shape for the most part, plus it vibrates! From a woman's point of view, this toy could be used as an anal toy or a very shallow G-spot vibrator. This is a perfect anal toy for double penetration. It provides a super comfortable shape and pleasing vibrations. LX3 is truly a luxurious toy men and women can enjoy. It is made of superior materials, is rechargeable, and is waterproof! LX3 is really discreet and quiet. It would make the perfect gift for those with roommates. Because this is made for men, the LX3 is made to look manly. It comes in a masculine package, and it comes in black (a pretty manly color). I personally don't mind using a non-feminine toy, but some women might.

LX3 is made with every body in mind! I say this because it is made out of silicone. Silicone is non-porous, hypo-allergenic, and latex/phthalates free. This toy likes to attract every piece of hair and lint in the entire room. The toy comes without any tastes, but it does come with the "new toy" smell that washes away after the first cleaning. Sadly, LX3 does have a seam on it. It isn't the worst seam I have encountered, but it could potentially irritate some people. I can barely feel the seam with my fingers, and it is nonexistent during use. Since it is silicone, it does come with a decent bit of drag, but water based lubricant will quickly take this away. There is a raised circle around the charging point, and there are raised symbols and lettering above the charging port. I used to be really annoyed by this because I thought it made the toy look cheap, but I found out that companies have to put these on the toys for legal reasons. After I learned that piece of information, I was able to understand and overlook this minor annoyance. The silicone is smooth and silky. The entire toy is very rigid except for the neck next to the power button. The insertable neck and head are extremely firm which makes insertion easy as pie.

LX3 is an L shaped anal vibrator. This shape isn't common, but it is used. Take the Romp by NobEssence as an example. The L shape seems to mimic the natural body shape better than the triangle shaped plugs. For this reason, this toy is very comfortable as a plug and as an anal vibrator. The longest portion of the L is the section that is meant for insertion. The shorter leg of the L is meant to stimulate the perineum. The insertable shaft has a bulbous tip that is curved to hit the P-spot. The perineum massager is designed just like the P-spot shaft, only it is smaller to fit comfortably between the cheeks. The P-spot shaft and neck are extremely firm. This provides a ton of pressure, and it guarantees an effortless insertion. There is no need to worry about the shaft bending and flopping all over the place. This toy is firm in all the right areas. The perineum stem is firm in the head flexible in the neck. Again, this makes long term wear or long sessions enjoyable.
How did the design work for me as a woman? If I was rating this on size and shape alone, this would be one of the perfect toys out there! I think the shape would be perfect for anyone, but of course it might feel better for those with prostates. The size is small enough not to scare away beginners, but advanced users may want to look at the bigger LX3+. LX3+ has the same shape and Power Bullet technology, but it is larger for those wanting a fuller feeling. After my great experience with this toy, I know the Romp will be perfect for me. I was a little worried about this toy getting sucked in, but the short leg of the L stayed in place very well. I was able to sit and walk around without any issues. Because of the smaller size, I really wouldn't hesitate to take this traveling with me. Even though it doesn't come with a storage pouch, the discreet massager is pretty easy to tuck into a drawer. The first picture below includes the diameter and total length of both stems. The insertable length of the big stem is 3 1/4". The smaller stem isn't meant to be inserted as it is kind of awkward (will talk about that next), but for those that want to try it the insertable length of the small stem is about 2".

Charging:
The LX3 has a 3 hour initial charge. The battery in this toy is a Lithium-Polymer battery, so it does not need to be run down entirely before charging again. When charging, the red light around the power button will shine to indicate that the toy and charger are properly connected. When the charge is complete, this red light will go away. After the initial charge, charging could take up to two hours. The run time on a full charge is up to one hour and fifteen minutes.

How to Use It/Performance:
LX3 is very easy to use. There is one push button located on the underside of the short stem. This button is also underneath the black silicone, so it kind of blends in. It is raised enough to feel it with seeking fingers. The toy works on the "Push and Hold" system. Press the power button once, and a red light will come on. Hold the button until it reaches either the desired intensity or the highest intensity possible. While holding the button down, the red light will flash and will shine steady when the highest level is reached. To turn it off, simply press the power button once. It is always awesome when a toy features a quick shut off feature. The toy is powered by a Power Bullet. The Leaf line also runs on Power Bullet technology. LX3 can be locked for travel. It is locked by quickly pressing the power button three times. This is easier said than done. It took me 15 minutes or so of trying this before it actually locked.

The location of the vibrations is where things go south for me. The vibes come from the shorter stem not the insertable stem. I would be okay with this if the vibrations traveled well into the insertable part, but unfortunately it doesn't. The vibrations are powerful, but I can barely feel them in part that counts. While the insertable stem is filling me up and pleasuring me, the shorter stem is vibrating the crap out of my butt cheeks. This is where having a nice perineum would come in handy. Instead, the short stem is long enough to reach my vaginal opening which feels nice until I want some DP action. Then, I just turn the toy upwards. Problem solved except it doesn't feel as nice. The shape of the toy pushes down into my vaginal canal, and this causes my hubby's penis to go straight up into my G-spot. This is one of the many perks of using anal toys! The loudest this toy gets is about a cell phone vibrating, so those who need to be discreet will love how quiet this toy is. The vibrations are extremely buzzy in my opinion, and it kind of tickles my bum. This provides a whole new sensation for my butt, and I have learned that I kind of like buzzy vibrations in my anal toys. Who would have known? I much prefer to use this toy as an anal plug for long term wear. To do this, I just make sure to lock the toy before I insert it. I have not had a problem with this slipping out during long term wear. It does tend to slip out during sex though, and this usually occurs during a powerful orgasm. This really is a multi-use anal toy. From a woman's point of view, this could possibly work as a dual stimulator. With the insertable stem in the vagina and the powerful vibrating shorter stem on the clit, the LX3 might very well work as a rabbit if all else fails. I have tried this, and it works okay. It will really depend on how far apart your vaginal opening and clit are from each other. Because all of the vibrations are located in the shorter stem, I tried to use this end for insertion. This worked okay until I wanted to use it hands free. Once I let it go, the heavier and larger end was pulled down thanks to gravity. This caused the small end to just pop right out!

LX3 is super easy to clean. It is waterproof, so no caution is needed when putting this under water. Warm water and antibacterial soap, a 10% bleach solution, toy cleaner, and toy wipes are all the different kinds of cleaning methods that can be used on this toy. I wouldn't boil or put this in the dishwasher as it could melt the inner workings of the toy. There aren't any deep textures or nooks to worry about, so cleaning is a breeze. Never use silicone lubricants with the LX3. If you plan on sharing this with a partner, I suggest putting a condom over the insertable portion in order to keep everyone safe. Because this does collect dust, I highly suggest storing it in the original package or something. I also would clean this before and after each use just to be on the safe side.

I love everything about the LX3's packaging. It is designed to look like a cigar box. It does say "Male Lux Stimulator" on the front, and there is some information on the back, but for the most part it is discreet. The inside is where you will find the user's manual and a little sheet of paper showing other toys in the Lux line. The user manual is very informative and is provided in many different languages. The toy and charger can be found nestling in a block of black foam that has been cut to form to the toy and charger. This toy doesn't come with any pouches for smaller storage option, but the original packaging will do just fine if you have room for it. The packaging is too nice and adorable to throw away, so that is what I use to store the toy in. I would love to be given a gift that was packaged like this.

I have used this anal toy in the shower, and it still works like brand new. It has even been subjected to an underwater adventure in my bathtub, and everything is a-okay. I love how versatile this is, but in the long run it vibrates in all the wrong places for me. I do want to point out that I am rating this four stars because it is a wonderful toy. It is designed super well. If I were to rate this on how it works for me, I would give it a three. However, the problem doesn't lie with the toy, it lies with my body.
The one thing that bothers the crap out of me is the black silicone. I can see every piece of lint or whatnot that gets stuck to it. I thought white silicone was the worst, but black silicone takes the cake. I love the color black, but good god it is hard to keep this thing looking clean. End of my short rant. Thanks for reading!
